Lets Player's Reaction To Peter's Death | Marvel's Spider-Man 2 

Curious to see another route or outcome if Peter really died in this scene. Harry would've definitely be hellbent on killing every villains that had fought Peter before.

I've just realized that Peter DID in fact die in this scene. The Symbiote just revived him, but he would've been dead if not for the Symbiote

Harry didn’t give up the symbiote, it left him unwillingly. But wish insomniac made it to where Harry sacrificed his health by transferring the suit to save Peter. It would’ve made Harry even more likable and made players even more conflicted when we have to fight him later

Every single actor was performing at their peak in this scene. From Lowenthal delivering those strained last words as Peter is leaning on MJ bleeding out and impaled. Bailey's delivery of the panicked MJ trying to comfort and reassure Pete whilst getting him to safety, knowing damn well everything ain't gonna be alright cause she just saw Kraven break the blade off a bowie knife in man's gut. Phillips and his portrayal of the rage and intent to kill Harry and his symbiote had towards kraven, to the heartbreak of watching his best friend die. And let's not forget the cold as line delivery "not as venomous as they say" from Pirri as Kraven.

It’s crazy how insomniac almost killed Peter off three times, it’s definitely hinting at him actually dying in Spider-Man 3 possibly

The reason Peter died was that Kraven's knife was infected with all the venomous creatures he'd fought and killed. the poison spread in peter's body fast with killed him thanks for the symbiote, the venom and the poison was neutralised.

Bruh I teared up so hard. Just got finished with this mission.

What i loved about the game is while fighting kraven as the symbiote you feel that rage inside you, like your there. Beating the shit out of him,wanting nothing more, than to tear him limb by limb until there is nothing left but his head...

What *I* wanted in this scene to happen: As Peter dies with Harry and MJ beside him, the camera pans out slowly to a black fade and the credits slowly started to appear but instead comes Venom's voice and it says "Peter" I would have paid money for that. The reaction would be priceless.

In all seriousness in the back of my mind I knew he wasn't going to die for good, but the way it was done made me cry so hard I was afraid someone would question my sanity! If Peter does eventually die I am going to ball my freaking eyes out! Yuri Lowenthal is an always will be my favorite Spider-Man!

When I saw this, I was like, “NO, NUH-UH. They did NOT just killed off Peter!”

What hinted me to this happening was when the game perma locked the advanced suit to be used in the mission

It's crazy looking back on this cutscene how it was actually foreshadowing Kraven's death at the hands of Harry/Venom with the two simple lines of "I'll kill you!" and "Do it then!"

I’m not gonna lie, when I first played through the game, and I heard Peter talking about him not breathing, not being able to see, it made my heart sink so low, i actually started sobbing, Spider-Man has always been my childhood hero, but seeing him like that traumatized me, in the back of my mind I knew he’d be okay, but holy fuck man, just seeing it all go down, really fucked with me, the voice actors, did so awesome this game, I was genuinely impressed

For anyone not wondering yes Peter did actually die, but in comic venom 8 the symbiote has the ability to bring someone back to life. Edit: this is just for people who never read a comic book, but yes it can do that.

On a real note, either Kraven wasn’t trying to kill him or he’s dumb. He broke the knife off and left the blade inside the wound. Leaving the knife inside him slows his bleeding.

Seeing this I initially tought Insomniac trolled us with trailers, exactly how E3 Spider-Man PS4 did with Mr. Negative. At this point i really tought that Peter was actually dead and the game continued with Miles and Harry team up against Kraven and final boss Miles VS Venom. Really good scene.

Peter survived crane fall, stopped the falling helicopter, did a lot of impossible things... but died from a knife of random guy on steroids...

saw this accidentally when I was playing early missions entire game is spoiled 🥰

In an alternate timeline. What if Harry didn't get the Symbiote. Well beside the fact Norman would either keep him in a coma until "plan C" was ready or Norman would go bad sh*t crazy he couldn't save his son. So up to Peter and Harry face Kraven. Lets say Miles was in every scene Harry was in when Harry was Agent Venom. Lets just replace Harry with Miles. If Peter got stab it be game over. Miles would have to swing Peter to a hospital but wouldn't make it in time. Miles would try to track down Curt Connors who be the Lizard. Kraven would get to Curts first. While Kraven is weakened after fighting Lizard and killing him. Miles fights Kraven. He only able to beat him because Kraven is weak from battle with Lizard. Miles than hunts down Martin Li. He finds Li and fighst him. However Miles decides to kill him. Miles seen way to much darkness in the past days. Lost Peter, couldn't save Conners and Miles was already vengeful against Li. It be to much for him to see the light. Once kill Li. Miles returns home. After Peter's funeral. Miles leaves immediately. He stops taking to Haley. He more distance from his best friend and mom. He even barley talks to Mary Jane. They all know Miles k*lled Li but don't want to bring it up because he already lost a lot. Miles teams up with Yuri to k*ll the Cultness and Cassidy. Without the symbiote there no Carnage. So Yuri and Miles kill Cassidy pretty easy. Miles becomes a dark kill vigilante. This causes the city to be split on how to see this. Jameson capitalize on this saying this is exactly what he fear would happened. The old Spider-Man got himself killed and now the new one is off the rails. Jameson using this to run for Mayor. Miles mom run against him. Miles finds out Kingpin trying to rig the election to make Jameson win. He hired chameleon to help kill off Miles Mom. Chameleon comes close. Puts Miles mom in the hospital. Miles goes after Chameleon and kills him. However Kingpin knew this and post the kill online. This push the voters enough to vote in Jameson as Mayor. Jameson then immediately owners an arrested warrant against Spider-Man. Jameson then hires his own son. JJ Junior to bring him in. Miles then goes to the Raft to kill Fisk for causing all of this in the first place. However JJ Junior predicted Spider-Man would do this and lay a trap. Miles is captured, identity revealed and place in the Raft. The End.

I know it’s really because he’s a main character in the game but realistically he’s been stabbed in the ribs would’ve died within five minutes the blood loss because he got stabbed in the ribs. He would’ve died before the symbol could’ve held him. Because if you get stabbed in and then the knife in his body but I’m pretty sure he would be in pain from that
