Wow im suprised somebody reviewed this with the way ppl act like they too good for cantu lmao. I literally just bought the leave in yesterday and im impressed.
Im tired of 15$ -20$ hair products. Im gunna stick to drug store and just pay attention to the ingredients from now on and see how it goes. These larger brands are just foing money grabs now a days anyway they dont care about formula.
Tbh, I get the Cantu snobs alittle bit lol. When I first went natural Cantu was a go-to but it slowly dried my hair out 😂maybe I'll give this line a try~
Addiany Joseph I have the same though. In the ends, it gets pretty expensive and with the current situation, I don’t want to put that much money into hair products when drugstore ones works well too. I was dissapointed by Cantu before, but given that my hair Loves Avocado, I’ll give that line a try. 😒
I think more people just move away from Cantu because it seems to lose it's effectiveness for whatever reason. When I was relaxed and up to the first few months after my first bc it was awesome. After that my hair laughed at it.
You should have tried the hydrating avocado curling cream. I love 💕 that stuff 😃 shampoo,condition, use cream then seal with oil. Twist and your hair will be super soft, I promise.

Congrats on 50k !!! Thanks for the review. I have to agree that these new cantu gels are like moisturizing gels and are not like typical crunchy gels. Maybe you can try their avocado leave in conditioning cream . I reviewed it on my channel doing a finger coil and it turned out amazing.

50k woop woop 🙌🏽. You always look so glowy. I haven’t tried Cantu in over 6-7 years. The products because drying to my hair. With this line it seems they have improved.
Lexi I’m surprised you didn’t get the leave-in. I didn’t like this line at first but then I started using it on my protective style and liked it much more. I used the get for a wash n go and loved how light it felt but it didn’t last. Your hair came out cute!

In my experience the gel isn’t that great, it’s actually the curl activator that’s bomb. It works well for a soft hold by itself and it works really well with a gel like Ecc or wetline.
