Can you do a video on how to transfer a Stage1 file for example bmw 525d 177ps to a new car in Winols? Where the ecu and engine is same but different software number? Thanks!
I haven't seen any tutorial for 2 years, why, you don't have the device anymore, you don't have an update for it anymore... surely something is happening, why don't you post any more videos?.??
Hi, how can you recognize an ECU if you don't have the information, you only know what car model it is and from what year??? how can you see what kind of ECU it has and how many horse power are assimilated??? like Autoruner where it shows the car model, the year of manufacture, how many horses it has and what ECU model it has... how can you see it in BFlash? I intend to buy one and I want to be sure that I am making the best choice. Really appreciate
I look at the comment and I don't see that they answer to anyone, I heard that after you buy it they don't answer to the support, I see that all the comments are not answered... that means respect for the customer
Hello, Wanting to buy a backup tool, At the moment have kess v3 and pcm flash. What do you sugest bflash or autotuner. The last one seems to have more cars ex simos 19.7/8 and sid 321 gen 2. Also what do you thunk of bflash live tuning? Regards
Hey! Bflash live tuning is good but you need the damos/a2l for the project you are working on, which can get very costly! I’d recommend looking into vehical for that. Back up tool depends on the cars you do really!
Hi Chris, sorry for not getting back to you, we pretty much always know which ecu we will be working with, but if not then portals (such as my own) will tell you what ecu to expect based on the vehicle detials :)
Most of the ecus you will know before booking the work in, or starting development. If not then there are stacks of ecu search options available online
hi Phil, Do u think bFlash is worth for 5k+ for a tool.. which most of ecu's support on bench? for example vag edc17cp14 even PCMflash supports by obd!! NEGATIVE things : 1. First of all.. no VR as i can see? 2. most of ecu's are bench.. 3. too much expensive for the ecu's / support of ecus, protocols etc. 4. too much expensive when comparing with their competitors. 5. Software don't list car's by brands, kw, ps etc.. POSITIVE : 1. live tuning 2. advanced Logs. 3. any other u can list? i think this tool should be much more cheaper (master version) coz their competitors are very huge with many protocols, LIKE AUTOTUNER which support most ecu/s tcu's by OBD , flex , kess3 , etc...
Hey! Yeah its 100% worth the cost! - bFlash has the VR function which is used well, alot of the protocols are much faster and reliable the the competition. (I use VR in the video) - Most of the old ecus are bench, but all the newer ecus are mostly OBD - It doesnt have as many legacy ECU's as the competitors, when I asked them about this they said "its better for us to concentrate on the new ecus and have them developed, rather then work on the old ecus just to have more legacy protocols" - which to me is exactly what im paying for, to be able to tune and develop new software. - The subs you pay for is for the support and protocols, which is cheaper then any other tool for what you have, I have used the support myself to fix ecus other tools have bricked, they are tuners themselves, so you dont waste time trying things that might work, or waiting for an engineering department. - software not listing cars in basic terms has never bothered me, I know what car I have and ecu it has when the car is infront of me. Primarily, bFlash isnt a garage tool that flash 100s of cars with brought software, its more of a development tool for those who wish to create there own software and have a strong platform, Bflash is one of the few tools that read ecus complete, so we have access too areas such as the ASW so we can make patches and add things like map switching. It has a stong place in the market. Hope this helps!
@@Phil-cooper Thanks for your reply, Phil! It was just my thought from things i understood on the software I have already AT MASTER, Im researching between bflash and flex .. Your response has changed my mind.. but i think based on ecu corverage it still expensive Support for ecu's , bricked.. or for cloning, still need to pay ? Or they are included on the 12month subs. Thanks
No problem! Video 2 on this tool would be good for you to watch, this video is the older version! When picking tools it all depends on its usage, for cloning - lots of protocols etc if you are working with other companies then id say get a flex tool, if you are looking at making and developing your own software and have other tools, then id say get a bFlash. bFlash support cover any issues you may come across when using the tool, or having issues with an ecu, cloning is abit of a grey area, but id say flex would be better for that, they have a list dedicated to cloning - www.magicmotorsport.com/flex/vehicle-and-services-list/duplicable-ecus-and-tcus/
