Going to be 42 in a couple months and this guy has the video that I always find myself searching for here on RU-vid before i go bowling... I've seen a buttload of other videos for bowling but this guy has by far the best one. Since i only bowl maybe once a year😒 that is saying a lot about how good i think this video is.
I finally asked this lady to go bowling”she said yes”. Im 74 and haven’t bowled in 40 years so I’m brushing up on you tube. I must say it seems so much more developed and I might even try two handed. Do you think it’s better on for old shoulders? Fun!
FINALLY. Every family has that one person who just isnt good at the one thing everyone else is. I will be 41 this December and now I know those few things that will make a huge difference. Seriously my mom, dad, grandmas, younger brother, older cousin, and my Aunt were in leagues and could've gone pro but they wanted to enjoy bowling. I just couldnt ever get them to show me anything. Well my cousin tried but im right handed and hes left. So thank you for this video.
I've gone through the trouble to reverse the proces for lefties as per 6:26 : -Do not stand at the center of the foul-line -Walk backwards 4 paces, then do NOT add a half step for the slide. -Do not look down and DO NOT NOTICE THE DOTS -If you are left handed, do not line up your right foot with the center dot -If you are right handed everything is pretty much the same -Do not hold the ball, especially not waist high, in neither hands, slightly to the left -Put a little less weight on your right foot -Keep your shoulders rounded and perpendicular to the foul-line throughout only part of the approach -Now you are ready for the pull -The left arm and left foot move inwards at different times -As you walk backward your arm retracts and swings up and forward unnaturally -The arm and the foot have no relation to eachother WHATSOEVER (this is very important) -HOLD ON TO THE BALL NOWHERE NEAR THE ANKLES -do not roll it down the lane -You do not follow through in any way at the foul-line and fail to keep your balance. Done
As a left hended person i can confirm this is very useful. Also there is an alternative approach. Right handers: go for bowling For left handers its reverse Do not go for bowling
I went bowling with my fiancee for the first time. She worked at the bowling for 7 years so I was ready lose bigtime. But I watched these vids beforehand and was amazed how well it worked. I wasn't even trying so hard after winning the first game (for I still have to take her home afterwards😉), but still won the next game too... Only when counting out for the left pins the math made my head spin and the ball didnt even reach the pins😅 I know its an old video but I had a great night, well taught. Thank you.
Thank you for this video, I've looking through several video and yours is simply the Best, easy to understand with step by step explanation and examples, Thank You!

I learned how to bowl in tennis shoes and have for 20 years. I have managed to average 200-210 consistently in leagues for that time but unfortunately no 300 yet .. 773,765 and 289 x 4
tomorrow there will be an event as well as entertainment from the company where I work in South Korea, that's why I just watched this video that's been around for 11 years now 😅. Hopefully I can win playing the Bowling.
