Committing to 1 video, every 2 weeks... again ;)
I can make many excuses for why I slowed down on making videos so much last year. And most of them are just that, excuses. But one main bottle neck has been editing. Editing is hard enough as it is without a show computer, making it that much more difficult. And while my current computer has served me well over the past 13 years, I was due for an upgrade. I settled on a Dell XPS 8950, with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Would I have preferred a 13th Gen i9 processor, and an RTX 4090 graphics card, of course! But the Dell was withing my budget, and I am still very happy with the specs. And while the all white case, might not exactly be "on brand" (black) i actually quite like it, and it's much nicer than all of the rainbow gaming rigs that sounded it... *typing on a rainbow backlit mechanical keyboard*... and from what I read, cards above a 3060/3080 don't really have much to offer when it comes to video editing, which it what this PC is for. Bottom line, I am very happy to have a new computer, and I think it's going to be a real asset to the channel.
