Letter case sensitivity in DAX, Power BI and Analysis Services

I just became aware of this the other day - still seems like a design flaw IMO. Case: a matrix with ProductId and ProductName as row headers, and a CountRows measure as values. Data: ProductId is unique, but somebody entered two ProductNames for one of them, differing only in case. Result: the matrix displays a 2 (row count value) for that ProductId, but when you drill down to the ProductName, only 1 appears. Before I realized the case issue, I went into Power Query and added a Remove Duplicates step to the query. Same dissonant outcome with the matrix. That is, Power Query IS case sensitive. Conclusion: I don't much care WHICH choice they make on string case identity, but I do think DAX and Power Query should make the SAME choice.
