If you're in it to win it you're just going to sit down and say I'm going to have 8 beers. cuz if you say you're just going to drink 8 beers then I mean everybody already knows you're going to get hammered so you're just in it to win it
Its all about set and setting. That stuff doesnt only apply to acid and hard drugs. A person who can, when full stomached and well rested, down a bottle of vodka and walk away from a party, can also, when drinking a beer for breakfast, be plastered from that one beer. In one instance, still groggy from waking up, no coffee, no food in the stomach. The beer gets right to work. The person might be sober in two hours, but the initial kick will be hard. Meanwhile, the same person at a long going party, with a stomach full, slowly downing liquer, can, by the end of the night, finish the big bottle, and still walk home. But he will be plastered for at least another 8-10h as the liquer works through him. Its all about drinking smart. Or at least smart enough. Sometimes its fun to be in it to win it, just gotta watch out to not get over the limits
