@@itsolie thank you, I would not mind! The hardest level to recreate was "safety hazard", of course, but when I was trying to recreate "ring a roses" I was thinking, "Maybe I use different sprites for E and O to make B O L T IS YOU and then BOLT MIMIC BELT, but I want the S to work correctly, so maybe I overlap them, but that would look weird..." before realizing I could just overlap the O text and ring.

@@itsolie also I just made a level called "rocket transportation" which uses one feature of letters+ and another feature one might _expect_ in letters+ - IZGJ-P63H edit: I forgot, that feature was already there, as in F IS H

@@Cycy_the_Crystalball also yes, it’s all done with hidden rules! they’re placed in very specific places so you forget they’re even there

wowow the method you described makes so much more sense than what i did - i can promise you that the method i used is very very inefficient !!!! in the next video i’m releasing on the pack, the finale, there’s a Behind The Scenes level for this level specifically, and you‘ll be able to see how i did it. it’s not pretty and it’s VERY laggy

@@Probba I think something like "(MOON IS )NIMSINOOW( AND WIN)" should work main idea is treating NIMSINOOW as a word

ahhh thank you so much!!! that’s really made my day ^-^ about the broken levels… a while ago a change was made in the games code to how parsing is handled, which broke these two levels. i’ve reported it to the developer and they’re hopefully working on a fix! there’s no other way to make these levels work so all we can do is wait and hope it comes out soon 🤞

@@itsolie ah that's a shame :( it's still a blast to play through all the levels that do work though, i'd love to see more from you once i'm done with this pack!

about a week later and beat the whole thing! or at least, all of what's beatable :P I haven't picked up baba in months and this is like a breath of fresh air, just like when New Adventures came out - a brand new set of rules packed with its own can of ah-ha moments to provide, backed up by some banging new soundtracks - every level had me smiling at what it could pull off the difficulty is oh so spot on, for someone who finished the main levelpacks there's nothing too esoteric! (only really got baffled on 1-10) I'm trying my best not to spoil myself on levels that aren't available in this version, but honestly all i've played already makes enough for an experience. Kudos to you! (btw, here's a list of currently (accessible) broken levels: individual alphabet letters seem to be the one mechanic that doesn't work at all) 0-3 - Fishy Business 2-1 - Abbreviation, which makes the entirety of world 2 inaccessible :( 3-6 - Fragile Kitten, thankfully only locks 3-vanilla 4-4 - Spelling Bee, with the rest of world 4 and the endgame locked behind it

@@stnfwds it’s lovely to hear you enjoyed it !!!! the “a-ha!” moments were what a lot of the levels were shaped around, so i’m glad they worked as well as they did. also, thanks for the list of inaccessible levels!! i’ll update the description and itch page with it, so people are aware before downloading :)

the custom music is made by adding music files into the pack folder! no metatext abuse required :) and the pack doesn’t use metatext at all! i don’t really understand how it works, so… i don’t use it lol

ah, the welcome level was more of a “look at what this pack can do!” than an introduction to LETTER… take it with a grain of salt!

@@itsolie could maybe change the LETTER sprite in all worlds but the first level to looking like a property (like in letters fan pack) lol

you’re probably playing on an old version of baba is you! this isn’t a problem caused by the pack itself - its a bug in the game that causes those levels specifically to not work correctly (a parsing issue in the code), so you’ll have to update to the latest version of the game, which fixes this.

which level do you mean? there’s quite a few different instances of objects being used as letters, haha

if we divide the text ROCK CK IS PUSH into two lines, we get this: RO CK IS PUSH CK (the ROCK text is split into two because that’s just how it’s written) only reading the top line, it spells ROCK IS PUSH. hope this helps!!
