This would be the same Ross who immediately noped out of an improv bit where an American Idol judge says a performance is so bad it makes him regret the end of slavery
I love how Ross is desperately attempting to swing things back around to the romantic tension but Chris dug himself in too deep with the Confederate thing and now he's just all in.
If I had a nickel for everytime Ross did a skit about a letter to a confederate soldier id have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
Ross is clearly putting it out there as a decoy. If you pay attention he’s fabricating this imaginary woman’s activities. He’s trying to start a running bit about the torridity of the letters juxtaposed to the feeble attempt to mislead and appease anybody who might read the letter. It gets lost in how wild this bit ended up getting.
@@deathbykonami5487 For a majority of history that wasn't an option for gay people, so it would be both redundant and unnecessary to call them unmarried to each other since that would be the default for a gay couple during those times. There was actually a period of time where pointing out a guy wasn't married was the equivalent of calling them gay.
@@bippolhdt4730not married to each other goes without saying because that wasnt legal. unmarried means they're not married at all. but it's possible they just misunderstood the question
i like how it slowly transitions from slow, thoughtful letters to essentially frantic text messaging also, “bodies piling up one on top of t’other … wishing that i was one and you were t’other” is genius and underrated
They cut out some of it for the clip that makes it seem more like sending texts, but yeah towards the end it became more like texting or passing notes than a series of letters😅 But yeah "wishing that I was one and you were... t'other" might be my favorite part lol
@@nessesaryschoolthing How so? The prompt was clearly about a gay couple which wasn’t married, and they presented two gay men, with beards, writing each other.
You could literally write "I tore open your letter and licked the envelope’s seal for any lingering taste of you" and 20th century historians will be like "Okay, lived in the same house, one bed, same sex, sounds like roommates to me."
I don't know why, but I expected one to be really discreet, and the second to essentially be: "My dearest friend, Your last message stired me greatly, may I enquire after a midrift silhouette "
I can see why Philip fell in love with Jeffrey. Although he may be on the opposite side, he is a man of great passion dedicated to a cause he truly believes in.
I have two kinda meme builds for Paradox- the more fun one IMO is building around your wall with Rapid Recharge, Superior Stamina (so you’re always on the right side of the wall) and Rescue Beam to self heal while charging your 3. Skirmish like crazy with Imrpoved Burst, Headhunter and Mystic Shot and lead groups of enemies on crazy wild goose chases through your huge widescreen TV-lookin walls with Improved Reach and they can literally never catch you. Bring them inside where they’re forced to cross your walls while you dodge back and forth between them and they’re just dead. You have to play like the biggest lil rascal imaginable, tagging them with 3 to annoy them so they chase you while you run with your speed boost and enduring speed/fleetfoot into a building and Tom n Jerry them to death. The other one which is fairly popular is the sniper build, where you build crazy long range bullet damage to make her 3 chunk for over half someone’s health- long range/sharpshooter, hollow point ward, pristine emblem, glass cannon, combat barrier, improved burst. It can go crazy but you’re all or nothing on landing your 3s.
