thats exactly what an intrusive thought is, most in this video are impulsive thoughts. i actually have intrusive thoughts and they get very detailed and distressing
@@Strawbea_ this trend really hammered the idea into people’s heads that intrusive thoughts are just spontaneous/impulsive thoughts and it really does suck. i also have horrible intrusive thoughts and seeing it dumbed down to “uh oh! i said/did silly thing!” is shitty.

nahhhh intrusive thoughts are like that 4:30 . Impulsive thoughts is just harmless thoughts like smashing your hand on cake but intrusive are more extreme and dangerous
people think intrusive thoughts are silly spontaneous things, when in reality it’s a burden for most who deal with the really bad ones. it always bothers me when people don’t just say impulsive.
