Man that thing looks nice. I’ve been thinking I might need to pick up a new Leupold like this soon. Love the dial on it…. Can’t remember the tube diameter on these. So glad you got this…looks so nice on that rifle. Seriously hard to beat a nice Leupold on a hunting rifle.
The rubber is awesome. Scope never gets dirty or wet glass. If you go to the luepold site the reticle thickness and dimensions mean certain moa or whatever and they tell you what magnification means what exactly.. I’m about to go brush up on that right now.
Thanks! Yes the throw lever is removable. It threads in. Mine is just a standard duplex. I have it sighted at 100y, and it’s been a good clear scope. I took a deer using it a few weeks ago, and it worked great. 93 yard shot. I’ll eventually work up a load I like, and have leupold make a CDS knob to match the load.
How does it do without the side focus does it get blurry at any distance I'm looking at Leopolds can't decide between the scope u have and the vx3hd 4.5-14x44 and the vx5hd 3-15x44 the vx3s are hundreds of dollars less n I usually hunt its 120 yards shots usually 250 max but do have some powerlines and from my porch to the back of my pond is 400 to 500 yards and will take a shot at that distance if a nice buck comes out just worried about the vx3s getting blurry
