Had one for years...and it's yellow...they are brilliant and simple

It's just proves how many anglers can't be bothered reading the intructions when they first buy it. As Michael Hilton mentions below, if the shot has been applied too tightly (usually by biting it on) a gentle squeeze with the notched end will loosen it sufficiently to move the shot without damaging the line.

I use my one of these probably more than any item of terminal/gadget type tackle i own. Wouldn't be without mine.

Never used mine for moving shot, but for removing shot-stottz , it’s brilliant, could not be without mine now👌

I've used one of these for over 30 years and am amazed that people don't know about em. I recently saw my mate trying to remove shot with pliers and when I showed him how easy it is with one of these, he bought one straight away. I use it for moving shot as well. Brilliant little gadget.
