To be honest, that's how you play cook. Its not like your gonna chase victims anyways because you have bad endurance and speed so it is good to camp at an object and ping victims out while still trying to get blood.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I stood on the fuse on family house for basically an entire game because they kept trying to rush it. I killed a Connie who kept going for it and got yelled at after the round was over for it. That guys was so mad he even left comments on my steam profile.

You played the Cook great in that situation. Your hitchhiker was trash, he should have been trapping and constantly checking the fuse box with his speed. The only thing I would have done differently was at the end of the match with only one victim left, I would have been pinging him constantly so maybe the hitchhiker would have chased him down. And you would get bonus xp for all the pings

I just don’t understand it from the victim perspective lol. If I see a family member guarding a location, fuse or whatever, awesome. That means there’s another spot not guarded. There are 4 exits on each map (5 on gas station) if one is being guarded, go to another one lol.

I love it haven’t played dbd killer since release. Like how they fix broken stuff on both sides every patch, and realized being able to keep stabbing and stunning cannibals back to back wasn’t the way to go. Just as with DBD I play both sides but survivors/victims are so arrogant they are already trying to write chapter 1 of the victim rule book. Notice how cook didn’t tell the Julie her job is to kick the gen then run down the road while the fuse is being defended or tell them they can’t rush the fuse or window, it’s because most family players understand it their job to kill you not control you Rant over.

I’ve had games where the cook lets victims run right by him because he’s only focused on blood collecting. It’s frustrating! I love that you collected AND helped! Great game play keep it up!!

Wow! Your job as a player is to have fun. Honestly, I feel their frustration, but that’s the fun of it. Like me playing the victim. I’ve only escaped a handful of times, most of the time I die. But when I do escape, it’s so worth it. However, I did deal with a cheater the other night. That sucked.

Someone got upset they lost because you played properly for the situation. The only thing I would of done different was slow play the Leland that you knew was in bush by using ability acting like you don't know where he is, but to be fair you didn't know if leather face was listening to coms and helping. I play arranged so I can do more plays like that keeping them in a bad spot.

i’ve ended up in matches with that guy many times before, pretty toxic player overall. he actually cussed me out in an end game chat when i was playing family because of the way i played cook as well after he got killed. he mostly plays leland. also just to top it all off, i’ve heard him use racial slurs in lobby voice chat (the n word - hard R.)

It’s interesting how other players are willing to give you unsolicited advice on how to play a match. When the objective is to eliminate victims by any means necessary (not to follow a prescribed routine based on your character’s build) sweaty players suck!

Even if people tell you you're playing your characters the wrong way, you play how you play it. That's how strategy works you see. I've used the same cook blood build as you. Nick, but ever since the new perks are fresh is best, I combine them with blood banker fresh is best and surgical. That's the ultimate blood goal

I think that Julie never played Family, or played Cook. Also, good job, I personally have scout, serrated, and security pins, just so I can guard objectives and pressure them with some hits. I also sometimes go to the different route and get universal donor, or Vial-Ent

Its a shame that people are already getting competitive about this game.

High level players always get salty when a lower rank player beats them, most people on this game prefer to go victims, imo victims is easier than hunting people down!

I was playing as Hitchhiker and had a Johnny calling me the hard R and told me to commit suicide all because i didn't place a trap under the fuse box so i was talking my shit back when he said all that bullshit. Gun changed the fuse box spawn area on Slaughterhouse so i didn't know where it was and i spawned at the generator so it probably must've been where he spawned at the car battery. I was busy placing traps then the asshole was saying that i apparently wasn't doing anything blah blah blah. Bro got mad over a stupid trap i didn't placed 😂 It's just pathetic how people tell you how to play your own game.

They would be salty af, if they faced a "speedy Cook" build :P

If you won… you didn't make a mistake. If anything you prove your point even more. Also, using cook's hearing ability to skip the collect blood animation at the end. This is already a famous build, if the lobby doesn't have a level drop perk and didn't rush the exit… they'll be fighting against a level 5 grandpa in 4 minutes

What I do if victims crack a lock on one door. I grab the padlock off the unlocked door and add it to the unlocked door. Sometimes it works. others times it won’t allow it. But when it does, it’s a nice fix.

I've found that using cook as blood harvesting just isn't worth it. He's too slow. You spend too much time collecting buckets rather than marking victims and patrolling your locks.

Only thing I would’ve done different is just ping more. The redness on them stacks, so if you laugh in their ear 12 times… they’ll be red for over 30 seconds😂 good vid and game though. “I’m build different, I win all my games”~🤡💀😂

Feeding Grandpa is only a factor if the other team is playing in a way that feeding makes sense. The entire point of the game is to stop victims from escaping, not feeding grandpa. Guarding an objective HAS to come first. Grandpa's abilities are a tool, not the end game.

First match wasn’t bad, a bunch of gate keeping of the fuse which is considerably one of the easiest escapes for victims on family house. I would have easily did generator or valve not sure why all level 90s were upstairs when it only takes 1 for fuse.
