+1 for dungeons - just started my first healing job this week and running through all the dungeons in order has been great for experience, gear, and progressively learning the class
seems i missed it or it was not in the vid at all: Armoury Bonus :) alt jobs start with the advantage of bonus exp just for the fact of level difference to highest job level. so completing fates is recommended on alt anyway but as your kills to _complete_ the fate's objective are rewared with up to 150 % exp (100 % for all battle jobs below 80 and 50 % for rested exp) you will catch up pretty fast. fc bonus on top plus some equipment with bonus as well will add up too. the job in the vid was dancer which starts at 60 already. unfortunately no hunting log for such jobs available, same for all other jobs which were made available new after ARR "Ultimate Weapon" MSQ completion. fun starts when your new job outranks the former higher job: now your old job is the one with armoury bonus and will start to catch up. to swap between all your jobs is thus recommended.
So I will mention really quick, leveling roulette also has a chance to give you trials even though it is way less common. (I'm pretty sure it say on the tooltip thingy and I have gotten The Howling Eye as confirmation)
Yes, the lvl 20 ifrit, lvl 34 titan and the lvl 44 garuda 4 man trial counts in these for some reason. But they did adjust the exp reward at the end to compensate for them not being a dungeon.
Im a newer player over the past month and a half. Got all jobs to atleast 50 besides BLU. I do job quests/hunts/fates to 16 then queue for a dungeon to hit 20. After that Squadron to 50 and do 1 Alliance raid. Then I just do Aurum Vale squadrons to 53 and Sohm Ai to 56. After that its mostly queueing for highest dungeon to 60. Havent got past 60 yet. Can run 4 Brayflox Longstops or Stone Vigils in a hour almost if im pushing and can even do them mostly afk besides some bosses. Yesterday I took Mar from 1-50 in a day with Offensive 5 archerx2 and balanced healer.
I always work on something else during the cs of msq roulette, but I still catch myself reciting the lines as the cs plays out since they are so engrained into my memory from so many runs lol.
I did these for the first time last night. After completing level 20, I could not run them anymore due to some kind of level requirement not met. Pretty frustrating as I thought your gear didn't matter in these. Do you know what I need to do to start the 21-30 levels?
Are you talking about deep dungeons? Your aetherpool arm/armor and your level needs to increase high enough. Gear doesn't matter, your aetherpool does as it takes the place of gear. Just rerun the previous ones until your aetherpool is high enough to progress.
@@MicaDoesStuff Ah ok, thanks. Yes, it was my aetherpool levels. Do I choose to reset my progress? I was afraid to do that if it was just going to reset me back to 0.
@@TheTalamier Yes you can reset progress. That only resets the dungeon lvl. Your job will also be reset to 1 for them, but aetherpool arm/armor remain the same no matter what. Also when you unlock those 51-60 dungeons you can just spam them on all jobs, you don't need to restart every time.
