BUCKET CAM WEEEEE!!!! Didn't even pay for a ticket for this fancy fair ride! Thanks for the creative camera shots guys. Love how this wall comes together!
The skill and ability of you both is jaw dropping. That’s what people pay for and why they come to your company, outstanding and always above and beyond for the customer, he’ll they will get some good quality usable garden back! Beer tokens all round proper job
Another great video! The skill set you to have is simply amazing. The continuous banter between you two not only adds to the video, but appears to make your day go a lot faster.
That looks great. I do question whether the rest of that hill will stay put over the years. I was hoping for a 300 foot run of block 5 high, but that is a lot of hundoes to throw out in one setting. Plus ya don’t want to be unneighborly with the other gracious land owner. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
As a homeowner, there's this list of things I would've thought of and ANOTHER of things I wouldn't. I'd have thought of buttressing that bank. I WOULDN'T have thought of DIVERTING THE PROBLEM DITCH. Great plan!
As mentioned in the last video the diversion is only possible due to the amazing neighbor that’s allowing all that to happen on their land. The customers land ends pretty much at the bottom of the slope.
This is a great series! MBTS is really doing a great job with all the equipment he’s been running! That Minotaur is definitely a beast! Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely love that camera angle from the bucket. Also I've been watching your hands on them controls and you are an excellent operator. You just got that touch...
That’s incredible. Y’all saved those peoples home and also helped the adjoining family property. With enough equipment and skill, anything is possible ❤❤❤
@@wallbawden5511 YOu have no clue what the deal was. When this job was quote the property owner of the ditch wanted to work on the ditch as well and make it better so he might be paying for that part and if he's not so be it because the home is saved.
@@johnunsicker7440 well I never say any of that it was a comment saying good job and the other home oner could throw a cupple dollars at the other home oner nothing more
This jobs coming together really nice..and if your winging it as you go even more impressive...when it's all said and done I think the homeowner is going to be safe and secure from the sliding earth. Well done fellers😎🇺🇸🛠️🚜😇👷♂️
Just doing this job is going to save the property owners house for sure, that wall should be there forever Mike! Especially the way y’all are compacting it behind the wall, looks awesome brother!
I just wanted to say that you all really do good work very practical very simple as cheap as you can quality I really appreciate like watching you guys you do a good job very entertaining
Good technique in giving those courses a 1/2 set back (battering). This "rear overhang" will contribute quite a lot of reactive mass pressure to counteract outward pressure of the embankment. 👍
I noticed a guy on Facebook knocking your effort on this. project. I think he expected Beauty and you are building a functional Wall that is saving that House. Great work!
Hi Mike, Looks Great! It should definitely keep the house in place! I can't get over the capabilities of the CASE DL550! It's got the muscle of two Track Loaders!
Here in Michigan the freeze thaw cycles would push that wall over after a few winters. Here it would have to be built with at least 2 feet of compacted stone behind the block to provide drainage.
You need to get an old rottery broom from a street sweeper with plastic brissles you can pick up with the bucket and thumb to sweep off the top of the wall would save a lot of shoveling ! keep up the good work !
Lace up boots are for people with good backs and plenty of time on their hands. Job is turning out great looking the owners yard has just increased and you two have saved their house from moving.
This project is definitely a win win for both property owners. The property on top gets more stable side yard. The lower property owner gets a nice little meadow area fo a veggies and herb garden and if they stucco that wall a projector screen to watch movies outdoors using bluetooth headsets. They'd just have to move their firpit a little ways. With a small DYI bridge over that creek when it's finished. Point that out to them when your done Mike.
You definitely are standing by your statement from the first day, "The rest of my lifetime that house will stay on top of that hill". A magnificent job by you both.
Thank you Mike for another great video precision equipment operation and teamwork. I appreciate whoever pulled that root off the skid steer as it was annoying and I suppose I'm a fuss budget but I would have taken a few minutes and removed the junk tires and pipe etc. before I started this project.
Not here to talk smack or make you mad but this is the most I've ever seen Mike get out an help the helper by shoveling. Definitely looks amazing keep up the great content mike
Good video-most of the time when you fight mother nature you loose... Maybe this will work for you guys, looks like you have a good plan. Keep on stacking. 👍
Mike ur skills as an excavator operator r flipping awesome. Ole lil fella is get better with the big skid steer. That thing look like a minuture dozer flipped around backwards. Awesome job See u on the next one. Yup yup yup
Looks great Mike, might be a monument brother! People might want to visit it! lol 😂 thanks for sharing my friends! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I guess different areas use different methods....my whole career, spent in northern NJ, we would never backfill a wall like that with anything that had any kind of clay content...because inevitably there would be a rainy period where it could saturate the clay and create hydraulic pressure and push the wall....we always used bankrun which was highly compactable and extremely well drained so that any water that came near it went out and away....but obviously you know your area
