it's good that you posted this, I actually heard Levi has learned jiu jitsu entirely through youtube and reddit comments. he will need this for ADCC

Because for some reason people like to watch standing hand fighting with zero takedown attempts instead of just letting them start grappling which is what we wanna see

The quality of stand up grappling across the board is rubbish. A lot of people who train think otherwise but when you come from watching freestyle, Greco, or folkstyle to this, it’s hard to watch. It’s understandable though but it’s the confidence in the stand up area in some of the gyms that gets me. Aussies aren’t particularly known as well for their standup wrestling prowess
