I have three pairs of ribcage jeans and I am obsessed with them! Levi's are worth the investment and flatter my figure in a way other jeans have never done before
505 was the first Levi's I loved. They never had a men's/women's back then. But I felt like the 501s never fit my body. They were supposed to be illfittet at the time in the 80s.but then came the 90s.and 505.was a very feminine fit. Which was awesome. We loved them. And I wore them æ almost every day. In black.
Have you ever seen the vintage Levi's from the 80's-90's. Don't remember the name , but they had a white patch sewn on the right rear pocket. I knew a few women who wore them and they looked awesome 👍 Levi's look great on you 😁
Great video! I recently tried on my husbands jeans and realized they are better made than the women's. They have much nicer deep front pockets and some of them fit curvy women too. I think most of the jeans you tried on were a size too big. I've noticed you really have to try on Levi's to find your correct size and it can vary a lot from color to color in the same pants. TFS

Thank you! I'll have to go check out the 501 skinny, I love how vintage jeans look but I don't think that most of them would look very flattering on me. I always have the same problem with the waist, I'm 5'6"ft with a 24" waist and 36" hips and jeans are always too short and too tight around my hips, so I size up and they're too big around my waist. My mum hates going clothes shopping with me, LMAO
I have 23" waist and 34" hips and just bought straight leg ribcage levis! they're the first jeans I've ever had that fit my waist and my hips and I think it's because of the higher waist. I totally recommend them for curvier lower halves!
I have the same issue as well, my waist is 26.5 and hips are 39. But I always buy size 25 or 26 in Levi's depending on the style, the hips are tight at first but stretch later to fit me perfectly.
I think as someone who is short with a 13” waist to hip ratio, the wedgie jeans are a good place to start. Ive always worn skinny jeans but I know they are not on trend anymore. I’ve been afraid of the mom jean but I think it’s time to make the plunge. Going to order some now!
Thank you for this! I have the 501 Skinny in a 27, but the Wedgie was too tight in a 27, which is weird! I need to get around to reordering in a 28. Also I definitely want to try the ribcage after seeing this video!
After finding your channel a few months ago and binging all your vids.. (especially thrift hauls!!) I caved and bought the ribcage denim... I mean come on, 50% off. I’ve had the same issue ordering form Levi’s though it’s either a perfect fit or too big... hmm

I have similar proportions to you (28" waist, 37" hips) and I've found getting a tighter fit at first with a rigid 100% cotton 501 ends up fitting better in the long run as the cotton loosens and softens! I feel like I'm basically forcing the jeans to fit my hips 😆
hi, i stopped wearing my LEVIS because i grew out of them. I have a pair of vintage 501 button fly that i loved when i could wear them BUT as we women grow and have children stuff changes... am i right ladies??? I'm looking for the same jeans but they don't make them that way anymore - SO... where are they making them? I've heard all these stories that they are going back to the good old days when they made them to last. Please tell me where? Thanks in advance xoxo ☺♥
I'm 54 and I have a pair of 50s from my 20s that are still holding up. I can no longer read the size because the tag has faded. The newer 501s are close but higher waisted. Quality is just as good, especially if you can find a selvage pair or one from the cone mill.
Usually silent fan here. Awesome video. Do any of the ribcage or wedgie fits come without an animal leather tag? I love Levi’s and would love to try both fits but don’t wear leather. (PS - Your hair looks gorgeous!)

When I have a 26inch waist and a 40inch booty what size should I buy? I mean by the ribcage straight ones? One time I tried the 501 shorts and I tried it in 27. Way to small on the booty and way to big on the waist.
Help! I sized down on the Levis 501 and they fitted so good but now they are way too big and baggy.. Im so scared to buy anything now because they never fit like they do when you first buy them.. what can I do? Sizing down two sizes? :/
Olya Yatskiv Hi! I tried the 24 and 25 and ended up choosing a 24. The 25 had a little gap in the waist in the back. The 24 felt tight in the hip the first time I tried them on, but after one first wash they are literally PERFECT. My most comfortable pair of jeans.
Hi I wanted to ask because I really want to buy their ribcage jeans (I’m from Europe so it’s harder to get them here) but I have kinda curvy body shape. My measurements are: 25’5 inches (65 cm) waist, 39’3 inches (100 cm) hips, around 22 inches (56 cm) thighs so idk what size shall I choose. I don’t want them to be super thigh in my thighs and butt.Can anyone pls help me?

hi! Do you know what inseam you have in the ribcage jeans? Love the length and I don't want anything too cropped. They offer two inseams on the websites.
