Two things to know when buying. 1 Buy the dark lining jacket, you'll never be able to keep the White lining clean. 2 buy a size larger than you wear. That lining takes up plenty of space inside the coat. You need to size up!!! I wear a XL, I buy 2XL.
I love the look of a classic Levis type 3 sherpa trucker jacket! I have 3 now in sherpa plus other Levi's denim jackets. Can't have enough! Super stylish and easy to style! Good taste my Levi's bro! 😁👊
I know the feeling. Collecting the jackets and some of their jeans are very addictive. lol I'm running out of room for jackets and they keep popping up with new cool ones.
These jackets for the money are nice. I've worn mine outside on 37 degree mornings on my way to work, keeps you warm. They are durable and built to last as well. I always get the standard blue because they tend to look better as they fade. The only jacket I think that comes close is the old Lee storm riders
Do these Levis lined/sherpa denim jackets tend to run smaller, larger or consistent with the sizing of other brands in your opinion? I'm 6'1'' around 215 lbs. and thinking of buying an xxl online but I normally wear an xl. Any personal experience with the jacket sizing would be appreciated. Thanks!
Nice vid! I've got one and it's great. Actually I'm large in jackets, but sometimes I have problems with shoulders and back, so I had to bought the sherpa in XL. Looks big but fit well on me and it's very warm and inspire attitude, it's eye-catching too. One of the best itms in my wardrobe!
More better to have a USA made jacket. About twenty years ago Levi USA started to farm out their production to Malaysia, or somewhere like that. Now the vintage examples are better. I have a 1987 one.

I agree I feel for some brands quality has degraded due to outsourcing & cost cutting - Levis overall has a better build than most fast fashion companies but levis made decades ago those things are practically indestructible - honestly I’m on the look out for vintage levis too! Awesome that you have that!
Mmh i guess Levi's trucket jackets are more expensive in Europe. i have the same one but without sherpa. also 100% cotton, a slightly darker blue, and regular buttons. it was €125.. and euro is more worth than dollar. i would think that a sherpa trucker jacket is more expenive than a regular one right? Yes, i'm right. i just checked, these sell for €135. and a quick google search says thats like 160 US dollar. Wtf. anyway, nice jacket! normaly i'm not a big fan of the snap buttons look. (still better than a zipper) but these somewhat look like regular buttons when closed. instead of these tiny metal dots you have on some cheaper denim jackets. must be easy to close and you can just tear it open when you want to take it off. i bet you must love the jacket. i mean, i would. i'm thinking about getting it when winter comes. i only hope the price will be lower then.. anyway! great review! 👌
Prices are going up. So I been stocking up. I got 3 pair of 501's and this Jacket with black liner. As I had a 40% off code for it.. So I got it for $60.00.... And these things last forever. As I'm brutal on jeans. My jeans last about 5 years before they finally get holes in them. The jackets I had in the past just fade. Then fit better as they get loose around your body... Great stuff....
Depends on the price difference. I preferred the full Sherpa lining premium. Also if you can afford either of them. Just get what you like...But the $300.00 one is just a fashion..I look at them at my Levis store and compared them..Quality is the same.. And don't judge where they are made. Go look at them and try them on.
Hi! I think you meant 166cm? I went through a couple of sizing chats for you and for your height and weight for small seemed like a good fit - I’m around the same weight and feel like small fits around the waist but always runs short for my height of 5’10 (178 cm) - I hope that helps & that the jacket fits you!
@@jovanivega yeah £60 is really good !! I'm gonna refund it and buy it again,for the cheaper price. They left the security tag on in and I'll get a smaller size. I got the large one cause I thought it'd just be bigger to fit over a jumper and go down to the hips, but it's too bulky in the chest area, I could fit 3 cats in there 🤣🤣

Im 6'1'' around 215 and am thinking about buying a xxl regular. In your opinion, is that going to be too big or should I look for an xl. I know Levis jeans tend to run small but I have zero experience with Levis jackets. Thanks.
@@loboyd691 xl for a perfect fit, if you prefer a looser fitting then xxl (but it’ll be pretty loose). As it goes up in size it gets a lot wider not so much in length, unless u get big n tall Depends on ur body structure too, if you’re 215 lean ish then xl for sure. If you’re midsection/upper body is heavy then xxl. Hope this helps :)
I would say try it in stores if you can but if not I’m roughly the same height as you so I would say go for a medium. Small might be short on the sleeves - hope that helps!
I may buy some levis jean jacket rite now I'm only getting naked and famous which is my favorite brand. But this year I'm making sure I get a good amount of trucker jean jacket at least 20
Naked and famous I heard is some good denim! Awesome I love my trucker jackets I think I have around eight or nine at the moment and wear them every time I can! I’ll see on adding some naked and famous denim to my closet need to break up the levis party in there
