@@theralaz for episode 22, I think the third guy missed before how commander Erwin lured the female titan into his trap. and the only reason it escaped was because she used her most powerful ability we ever seen in any tv show in history, which was to have the other titans kill herself. not only do the people who can turn titan have who know how much experience, but they use humanity's knowledge on titans against them. the female titans eye healed at 30 seconds instead of both in a minute, or udo's attack failing because of the females hardening which the only ones preview to that were the people who trapped it. anyways, Levi is probably the most badass but he follows Erwin. my guess is Erwin proved himself enough to Levi to the point where Levi's in his mind saying "dam, Erwin the g.o.a.t".

I don’t know how he manages to keep his mouth shut listening to some of these theories and arguments between the others. I find it highly entertaining as a viewer but if I was sitting in that room listening to a certain someone spout off about certain characters, I’d probably go off. 😂 Ronnie, you are so much stronger than me haha.
I really hope they understand Erwin’s genius behind this whole expedition lmao the only reason this expedition even happened is because Erwin knew there was a traitor. Ever since 5 years ago, and the colossal titan attacked and then eren being able to turn into a Titan, and then finally someone killing Hanges titans Sawney and Bean, Erwin made a gamble that the traitor would be a Titan shifter. It was basically bait, he connected all the dots over the years and took huge gambles and he was right, there is so much to Erwin and his plans that go unnoticed just know the man’s a genius
"Erwin is just words" ...He's the commander and strategist, that's his job. Levi's the captain, and therefore fights. Thats the whole point, Erwin is the gun and Levi is the bullet
List of theories: 1. Erwin is the bad guy. 2. Erens father is experimenting on people in his secret lab. 3. Eren will join the bad side and Levi will kill them all. You can add those I have missed.
35:30 finally, Rowan actually cooks with this. So far Levi squad only focused on keeping Eren, as a human, safe. Instead of utilizing his titan powers in a fight. Before they start fighting the Female Titan, Erwin actually says that if they keep fighting the way they know, they will never outsmart the enemy, coming to the conclusion that they need to think outside their current box too. And in contrast, at the same time, Petra and the others failed to change their mindset and kept focusing on Eren getting away, and because of that, failed once again and died. Had Erwin been there, he would have probably ordered eren to join the fight.
I feel like rewatching AOT with guys like you is more entertaining and emotional that watching a new show by yourself. Cinematic show with cinematic discussions afterwards. Also, your upload schedule is priceless. Other channels do like 1-2 episodes per week, that is frickin crazy for me and I think it ruins the hype. Continue with your great job!
Ronnie manages these discussions really well. It’s so funny to see him subtly leading them in the wrong direction, or just making sure they catch the details like Petra’s survey corps badge. That’s a true AOT fan right there 😂
The children looked at them with unfailing respect, but Eren was more in despair than relieved. As people become more experienced and mature, it becomes harder to accept other people's feelings as they are. The author was 19 years old when he drew this manga and took it to the editorial department of a publishing company. It is amazing that at that age, he had such a deep understanding of the structure of the world and the true nature of human beings.

36:07 fair pointing out bluntly right now...aberrant by definition just means something that behaves different...those titans were pretty normal till they heard the female titan scream...then they started acting wierd ignoring everyone and running to a focal point...hence someone asked "wth are they all aberrant?"

Differences between manga and anime: (Ep20) Manga: Gunther's severed neck is shown cut vividly. Anime: It is barely visible. Differences between manga and anime: (Ep21) Manga: Shows all the blood in the scenes of the Female Titan massacring Petra's team. Continuity: In the anime, Levi looks at the corpses of his teammates during Eren's fight. In the manga, this happens after Eren was defeated by the Female Titan (chap. 30).
I like rowans energy he's trying to be a detective and find out the enemy and sus out everyone...problem is...bruh you won't get it...relax...and listen to the words said to eren about erwin...you don't know it yet but soon you will understand why erwin was trusted with humanity. Don't spend too much conviction gauging who's sus...just watch and understand make your guesses and analyse...and enjoy the plot twist provably turn your theory upside down

39:43 This is the fundamental logic that many people should have but don't. It applies to all things in life. When there are binary choices. You chose one, and you failed. But it doesn’t mean the other choice is the correct one. Levi talked about this idea.
This anime is like everything in real life, not every path you choose will be beautiful, but even so, every path you choose will always affect your future.
I just want you to think that this story doesn't need an exact path or the most correct path. The writer came up with it this way. It depends on each person's perspective.

Rowan the only person who think Eren is better or the only right because he is the main character. I'm questionning if he ever watched any others show because main character are not always the people who are right or are the better, especially in a realistic story like that. Like it was said in the very beginning, Eren has no talent except a powerful determination, nor he is the most intelligent. Did i have to remember that he made his entire squad killed in the first battle of Trost ? He is impulsive. He is not meant to be a commander or a captain, nor he should be. The only reasonnable thing he can do to not destroy everything including his allies, it's to let his allies control him. He is only a weapon they can use. if he hadn't titan's power, he would have died like a normal soldier. It's only because of his powers, that he is important for the people inside the wall. And even if he is powerfull. He can't do anything by himself.
Bruh Rowan realllly hating on Erwin 😭😭I hope he realises soon that Erwin really is a genius and a tier above a lot of the other characters in terms of strategy and thinking
Mr Ronnie, occasionally, please ask them to comment about the show itself. Like "what do you think of the show so far?" AoT is a phenomenon of a show and while they are obviously fully immersed, we would lke to hear how the directions/music/voice acting/animations made the show so beautiful.
Eren wasn't wrong for trusting the survey corps and he wouldn't have been wrong if he chose to fight at the beginning either. It was a gamble and placing all bets on whichever decision costs less than the other. The same way Erwin took a gamble on the spy/ traitor, if they are a shifter or not. whether the deaths of going into that expidition would be in vain or not. My thoughts.
The reason the female titan detected Mikasa's attack direction was bcoz unlike Levi, Mikasa made the mistake to attach her ODM gear to the titan's body, so the female titan felt it.... Levi had been using the trees to manoeuvre around the whole fight

I think you guys were reading too much into it. Levi squad was revealed that their sole purpose was to protect Eren. They want him to trust them so they can properly defend him. It was revealed in an earlier episode that they should be prepared to put their life on the line so that not a single hair on Eren is touched. I don’t think the goal was to really tame him or teach him stuff, like it could’ve been to a certain extent for Levi/Erwin so they could guarantee he won’t turn on them but idk about Levi squad.
maybe a spoiler: At this point a part of me just wants Ronnie to tell Rowan that Erwin aint evil. He is creating waaaayyyy too much head canon at this point instead of just taking the story and evidence that the show itself gives u and then coming to a conclusion. The only reason he thinks erwin is evil is because he feels like he's sus, and then tries to find double meaning in absolutely everything to prove him right. And he sussed Pyxis at the start too. At some point u just gotta give up and take the characters for what they're shown as. If literally everything Erwin has done is pointing to him being good (but committing horrible things for humanity's survival) then there is no good reason to consider him secretly evil. It doesnt even make sense, why would he want to capture the female titan etc so badly if he was acting against humanity. + the fact that he had been in the survey corps before the walls even fell (implied in this episode). He's clearly not on the titan's side, otherwise he could have just let the Female Titan capture eren right here, and even if he does turn out to have an ulterior motive for himself, the things he has currently done have all been for the good of humanity EDIT: I just feel like Rowan is approaching it the wrong way, instead of seeing evidence of someone being suspicious and then starting to sus them, he looks at a character and decides they look sus first and then tries to find any evidence to support his idea

I think it's up to me to correct this misconception. The FEMALE TITAN WASN'T CRYING. "What?" _Yes. It was the fluid in her eyes leaking out. "Wait, if that's the case why didn't that happen when she was initially stabbed in the eyes?" -Yes that's bcos she had considearably high energy and high healing factor at that time. She priotised energy healing her eyes and later healing her arms to fight Eren. She hit low after capturing Eren. What was left in the tank was only to escape. She couldn't fight much or heal anymore. hence the effect of Levi eye-stabbing taking that effect. That n**ga left his blades in there too. That's diabolic.
"This is one of the top 5 moments in AOT" -- as hard to believe my response to that, because this scene is so amazing, it is probably NOT in the top 5. That's how amazing the fights in this series is. Probably top 10 though, yes. Top 5? Just outside it. AOT is cooking, but it's just starting to cook. Fasten your seat belts.
Biraj theories and discussions are top notch, i wonder when the "Erwin is evil" opinion of Rowan will change..he seems very set in his ways and that type of mindset is not good for this show.
He’s still set on it at the end of season 1 but the comments have got to him based off the end of season review, he said he wants to not mention it as much anymore because that’s where it’s been most toxic
