Leviathan RUINED my Week. 

i only got leviathan on wednesday and im like 1/2 through the tyranid side. i just finished the unit of termagaunts. so many spike bits...

They cause problems just moving them on the table I’ve stuck myself several times 😂, I think upright in a cardboard box on the passenger seat is going to be the best transport option.

It was honestly relatively easy to do basic bits like this with, I reckon it’s easy to start but hard to master 🙂

The bottoms of the spikes weren’t round so the holes would of had to be odd shapes somehow and also screw doing that for 50 nids 😂

@@LizardofDoom I've seen someone using spikey plastic aquarium plant leaves glued onto the carapace. They give a similar effect... But won't kill your fingers 😂🤣😂

Yep totally agree. Just a note one the perlonged usage of these cheaper airbrushes, they do tend to break after a few months. I never got one working for more than 6 months before having issues. Which is fine. If you eventually decide to get something higher quality then don't worry you can still use that compressor. And that's a good reason to get the tank version as it will last quite a while. Think I've had mine at least 6-8 years

@@LizardofDoom definitely seems worth while . I need to get one if I ever want to finish my terrain .. just painting one cathedral ruin building entirely by brush was absolutely brutal … not to mention I’ve got like 100 models to paint up between leviathan and the necron half of indomitus 😮‍💨

May bright out the pink a bit more when I revisit

I was thinking if I revisit some bits like, edge highlights on the carapaces, bring out the pink a bit more, maybe add a bit to the bases. Day “number 2” was hell. 😂

Nope straight over with the griming, if you gloss it it’s easier to clean off again but I wanted to make it all at least some level of dirty 🙂

@@LizardofDoom They were pretty good for the first 2 years I was playing, but that was... 1987. I think they're actually getting worse somehow. My mate and I split the box and he did the pre-order, it was only when I offered to drive us both up to GW to collect the box on release day that I discovered he'd selected home delivery. We were doomed. Not a big deal for us, but bad for GW. I honestly always just want them to succeed, I'm not a hater at all, but things like this don't help.

Aye the streaking grime did bring them down quite a bit, that’s what I meant by table top standard really, there’s a few things I could go back and touch up. Highlights on the pink, edge highlights on the carapace and things like that 🙂

@@LizardofDoom um, ok. So apparently I wasn’t clear with what I was asking (somehow). In the two years I’ve been apart of, in to, looking up what was out to buy, then buying and also every single video I’ve watched about the game, the pieces and also the lore of Warhammer I have never seen or heard anything about tokens for the game!!! Not to mention I have purchased a good deal of $150 and up box sets that did not come with tokens! So that is what I meant by “what tokens”? Is it a new thing? Because ever since I’ve been watching videos of people playing the game I always thought it was kinda a waste of dice to use them as wound tokens or any other tokens! Not to mention not ever state in the US has a WH store! My state has something that they call a store but it’s just a warehouse. At least when I drove by it it didn’t look like a store nor did it look like the pictures that are online! If that didn’t clear it up then I don’t know……. Maybe it’s just a language barrier! Edit: I forgot to put 40k after WH. Because I have seen tokens for kill team and the other version of the game. But most people say those are not for 40k!!! I guess I needed to add that as well or you’ll come back and say that!!!
