Levko Revutsky, Symphony No.2 (1926-27) revised 1940 and 1970 State Merited Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian SSR, V. Kozhukhar (Conductor) Painting by Claude Monet
Thank you for this upload : A great post-romantic symphony ! By the way, the titles of the movements are : 1- Allegro moderato (14.23) 2- Adagio (9.10) 3- Allegro risoluto quasi presto (9.23) Corentin Boissier (collectionCB, collectionCB2, collectionCB3 & collectionCB4)
It's so difficult to enjoy these modern pieces. I just find them too unstable and frantic. I prefer the Classical and Romantic eras. Sure, there are aspects of this piece that trade on those forms, but by and large, all over the place tonally and emotionally.
