Is there much of a difference between the 300 yellow filter & the 350 as far as actual performance? I understand the outer layer is different, but I'm curious about the practical differences.

We have to open the bottom and uncover the covered nilon from the filter before using P350, I did not know that until trying to replace the filter after 6 months 😂. Hope no one face this mistake like me
- My initial thought: Is there any point in getting the Core P350 if the only difference is basically the filter? Can’t I just put a pet filter in the 300? (You can) For an extra $29 for the pet version of the purifier, that is pretty pricey for the filter being the only difference and you have to replace the filter anyway. (I don’t care about the 12 hour timer) They’re trying to make more money off of us pet owners. - Thinking about it in more depth: The 300 is $99 The 350 is $129 The pet filter is $35.99 compared to the regular filter at $29.99. So a $6 difference. So I guess all in all buying the pet purifier you’re spending $23 extra. I guess it may be worth it to be able to start out with a pet filter (if you get the 350 pet version) instead of regular filter (if you get the 300 version) and and you get an extra 4 hours on the timer for the pet version. Although they’re still making $23 extra off of every person who buys it. Edit: I looked on the website and in the ad for the pet one it shows that the timer only goes up to 8 hours instead of 12. Interesting.
This is my exact thought too. I'm dithering between the 300 & 350 because apart from the price & filters, I'm not sure there's any other significant difference? Though there's way more reviews on Amazon about the 300 than the 350. I would be very interested to see a feature & performance comparison review of both, & more importantly, the results in terms of reducing allergies from pet hair & dander from those who own or have used both models.
Hi! Yes p350 is really the 300 with a pet filter. I would go with the less expensive option unless you need the pet filter. For households with 1 pet that doesn't shed a lot everyday, wiping down your filter weekly with be similar.
which one is better for allergic person? please help me to make decision. This is a little late. I would get the 300 and also order a toxin filter or the smoke filter. Based on their chart toxin is rated the same as smoke (best in all areas rated) except for ammonia (pet) odors. Smoke does that much better than toxin according to their chart. So whichever of those 2 is less money would work for you having no pets.
