Hello ! The difference is not huge in your test. In the 194 foot chamber the difference is only 6% between the Levoit 300 and LV 132. Even if the LV 132 takes half an hour more to do the work of the LV 300, on 24 HRS and every day the LV 132 fits perfectly. Regarding the entry of the LV 132 which is smaller, this is compensated for by a stronger jet of air entering through the holes. We should compare the power of the air jet entering the purifier. I am not talking here about the quantity of air that goes into these two purifiers because the LV 300 is a winner, but I am talking about the power of suction of air that goes in on each side, the air stream. I'm sure the LV 132 wins
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Hello! Thank you for your opinion. The smaller air inlet is not a warranty for higher air suction. The Levoit Core 300 has a higher CFM and a more powerful engine that leads to faster air circulation.
@nouvellecivilisation5895
@nouvellecivilisation5895 3 года назад
@@AirPurifierFirst I am not saying that it will attract more air than LV 300, the question is not there! I'm talking about the incoming air pressure to attract dust. The air jet entering the purifier must be powerful enough because of the small air inlet. I would like to test the pressure of air entering the LV 300 and LV 132 and not the amount of air entering. The LV 300 with a larger air inlet with a more powerful engine, that's clear

Do they clean the air? Lol that's the fundamental question. I have looked at filters from 300 to 1500 $$. So in comparison is the levoit worth the money?
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Great question, thanks. Yes, they clean the air! How effective they are, you can see under the performance test, where I mentioned how much these two devices improved the air quality in 60 mins in recommended room sizes. These two devices are good enough to clean the air in the recommended room sizes. The price isn't always a good quality factor when we talk about air purifiers. I tested some cheaper air purifiers that did far better in performance tests than the more expensive ones. Besides, I will do reviews of some premium air purifiers, and then there will be more comparisons between cheaper and expensive brands. If you are interested in buying a premium and a bit more expensive air purifier, stay tuned and find out more about: Dyson, Molekule, Blueair, Alen, Oransi, Coway air purifiers, which I will do reviews of in the future.

Hi, I have recently discovered your channel and I find it useful, I am about to buy 2 purifiers, I am undecided on which models to point between xiaomi h3, levoit lv-h312 and core 300, the first purifier I should put it in the living room which is about 30 square meters, with the possibility of moving it to other smaller rooms 13/17 square meters, the other model should go on a very small office of 4 square meters with the possibility of moving it into the room of 14 square meters, which models do you recommend? I'm confused :) thank you

Thanks for all the reviews, you do a great job!! I been researching the Levoit line... I am tore between buying the Core 300 vs Rabbit Air A2 (??) . We would be placing it in a small room (approx 100 sq ft) that would occasional heavy cigar smoke in the room? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Thanks for your kind comment. I think the Rabbit Air is the better option, but it could be a little too big for a room that size. Anyway, it's not that easy to remove the heavy cigarette smoke with just an air purifier. The best you can do is to combine an air purifier with the smoke absorbing device or something similar, which will move the smoke outside the room.

The LV H128 seems smaller and cheaper but more powerful than the LV H132. Do you have any insight on it? And the Taotronic ones?
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Yes, you are right. The LV-H128 and the Taotronics TT-AP001 have slightly higher CADR rating than the Levoit LV-H132. But, Taotronics has a smaller filter, and the LV-H132 beat it in my performance tests. On the other hand, the Levoit LV-H128 did better performance tests than the Taotronics, but the LV-H132 beaten it too (I have to do some more tests for the LV-H128 model, after which I will have a final opinion). Anyway, I will publish the comparison of the Taotronics TT-AP001 and the Levoit LV-H128 in the next month.

@@AirPurifierFirst thank you the LV h128 sounds like a good deal. I was also considering the LEVOIT CORE 200S . Anyway I could benefit of a couple. I was given as a present a Molekule mini air+. But the filters are very expensive, also the Amazon reviews look like fake reviews with instagram style photos, just generic praise. I am considering selling it half price to buy a couple of levoit. I read the wirecutter review. Have you tested the Molekule? Even if a present, I feel I would rather get something more efficient and less expensive. Any insight on it? Levoit seems the best deal, after all. There is also a Swedish company, Blueair, that has purifiers in that price range, maybe 20% more expensive than Levoit. I am suspicious of Molekule, too many red flags. Subscribing to your channel. Great to have such reviews.
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
@@stefpix Yeah, the Core 200S seems like an ideal model, but I haven't tested it yet. Hmm, I don't have any comment on Molekule, because I didn't test any of their models. Blueair offers some fantastic devices, they are a trustable brand. Anyway, you won't go wrong with Levoit's air purifiers.
@stefpix
@stefpix 3 года назад
@@AirPurifierFirst thank you. I would love if you tested and compared the LV-H128. It is a lot cheaper, but I wonder if the h132 is still better. Levoit wrote that h128 has a higher CADR than h128, but it would be nice to have an independent test.

There are a number of third-party options for filter replacements for both units. Would you recommend that I stick to using the Levoit brand filters, or are the third-party brands comparable?
@AirPurifierFirst

I haven't tested any filters from third-party brands, so I can't recommend them. Anyway, I think the original filters are the best.

Did you register your product on Levoit's website for a warranty? If you didn't do that, please go to the levoit.com website and register your product. After that, ask them for a refund, for a new product, or for a solution for fixing your issue.

should I vacuum the dust of the filter every month? Also why are the filters so expensive
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Yes, you should, because vacuuming the pre-filter could extend the life of the main filters. Filters for these models are not too expensive if we compare the prices with replacement filters of other air purifiers, but I agree that they might be a little bit cheaper.

I've seen reviews of levoit air purifiers that warn about their higher than average radiation output.
@AirPurifierFirst
@AirPurifierFirst 3 года назад
Not in a way you probably think. Almost every electric device provides a form of electromagnetic radiation, and it's quite "normal." For example, cell phones are having radiofrequency radiation, according to cancer.gov. www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/radiation/cell-phones-fact-sheet Anyway, you can go through the comments on the video you are talking about, and you will see that author explained that he is not right. I will quote the part of his comment for you "after posting this i have found out its normal for a big electric motor spinning fast will inevitably create a high electro magnetic field.".
