Levy County Recon 02, That White House on Waccasassa River next to the US 19 kayak launch. 

Who else has driven past this white house on the Waccasassa River at US 19 and wondered what was up there?
Its part of the historical Gulf Hammock Community that was built around the sawmill and fiber factory back in 1915-1956 that were deep in the forest next to Cow Creek, and which burned down in 1956.
The property behind it was made up of homes, workshops, and more, back in those days, and the Waccasassa passes under US 19 here, where you can launch a kayak and paddle east or west on the River.
