Daiwa used to give you oil and a spare pawl for the level wind ,a little wrench and spare drag washers and a little spring to hold in the bearings in a small med bottle like container. I still have mine that came with my first gen magforce still runs lika sewing machine.
Just wanted to say thank you for always recommending Digitaka. I ordered a 22 metanium shallow on Monday, and it’s being delivered today! 3 days from placing my order to my doorstep in southern New Jersey. So excited to try it out after work. Hi Nick. I am sorry i didn’t give my review on this reel early because I was not to sure if I can keep this reel. Usually I don’t do pitching and skipping I don’t have much experience in that technique. I purchased this reel to use with a light lures because of shallow spool . I really got disappointed about this reel. Because the breaking system is not working properly on my opinion. I have to reconstruct breaking system . Because every time when I cast I have birds nest. Fix it brakes and reel works as a dream.
An aluminum gear will wear out before a brass gear will. With heavy use you’ll be able to feel it sooner. Maintaining the reel will make it last longer but eventually then aluminum gear will run down before a brass gear will
Interested in comparison to Custom Lite. I have several Pro Ti’s which I like much better than my Shimano Curado 70. My latest is a Custom Lite which may edge the Pro Ti’s, but may be because it has fewer “miles” on it. I always fill up half the spool with mono, then braid so a shallow spool works for me.
Dude please tell me will this thing cast a 1/8 bait , to much double talk in this video,get down to the meat and potatoes, Will it perform, Will it cast light baits, anybody can take a Reel out of the box
