As far as I'm aware this is the only girl heart break song. Before You Go and Someone You Loved is about family members who have died. He was asked in an interview if he was ever going to make an uplifting song and he said 'unlikely/no'.

Sometimes when I watch reaction videos, I'm thinking the reactor is trying really hard to look like he (or she) is enjoying the music. In THIS video, though, Twon, I could tell from YOUR reactions that you were really appreciating Lewis's gravelly vocals. SO happy to see one where it's obvious the reactor is NOT 'acting'.

Way late to reply, but just want to say my thoughts on the video. I am a half-Mexican/white American dude. Take all the race shit, color shit out of the way and you will see what the video is trying to say. There is a couple that have their ups and downs like everybody else but they love each other. Notice how they stand there with pain in their eyes staring at each other. The people in the background are taking sides and trying to tear each other apart; however, in the end, they are all gone and the couple is all that is left. You can tell your friend that his girl is not right for him and support him the best you can, but he's going to be with who he loves. Cheers bro.
