@@Squatch76 I'm pretty sure the best time for Lewis to pit, the pits were closed, and then re opened when it was too risky to pit. It was very unfortunate but I feel like every driver on the grid can admit that his title was stolen. Lewis will always be one of the best
@@Z24_Official that’s what I mean. They should have gone back and maybe had a 5 lap sprint with only them and maybe no DRS? I meant it was manipulated so they should have gone all out for it haha. Both of them deserved to win the title last year. Lewis came on like a freight train after the summer break though. He was incredible. Again, I am a max fan and didn’t want Lewis to win and beat Schumachers record even though he himself said records are meant to be broken. A tie for now seems good to me to be fair. But Abu Dhabi last year was a travesty… I’m a max fan, we aren’t all insane lol.
This man will be the definition of not knowing what you’ve got until it’s gone. Humble in victory and gracious in defeat. The man is a fucking LEGEND walking.
I weeped for Lewis and I also watched on in wonder at how he handled that situation. The embrace with his dad took us all back to moments when we are crushed and run to our protectors. I can’t bare that the sport did this to him just to prematurely usher in a new champion/ era.. we all hope for redemption for lewis but whatever happens the next few seasons, he’s a living legend, a hero for millions and a man of strong character.. we will always back you champ!!

“its always how you get up” is such an inspiring piece of advice. one of the true great sportsmen of our generation. hats off to lewis. glad we still get to witness his greatness for at least one more year. (now give him a good car merc!!)
Niki would probably have torn down the whole of F1, give the middle finger to Mercedes and use his money and reputation to take that trophy back and hand it over to Hamilton.
@@peterporkeresq.2817that’s probably undermining the lengths niki would go through. The U.S military probably wouldn’t be able to stop Niki on that war path. 😅
Up until now I don't know how the fella dealt with that. Even if you wanted max to win, we all saw and knew that was wrong. Huge amount of respect to Lewis for how you handled it

@@kieranmcmahon1745 That specific race was not fair, but it's on Hamilton for not managing to get a single points lead on Max going into that race, even while driving a faster car. Lol, he is greater than the entire institution of European knighthood! Fuck being a night, lol! What a silly thing to aspire to! This man showed more honour in Abu Dhabi than all the knights of Europe did, collectively, in the history of knighthood!!!
@@rogier3672 if your a actually fan, (and have basic car knowledge) You would know how these cars work. SLH never did that on purpose. Max could've been more reasonable with the timing and braking. You can't push someone to the apex and expect them to still make the corner. Max knew exactly what he was doing. If you watch the sprint race you would see Hamilton and max in swapped positions. Hamilton ahead, outside, pulled out early and max ran wide and took the position. So learn facts before you comment you DTS fan

100+ wins, 7 titles, good person, and on and on…..still people try and hate on this guy. It’s sickening. That Abu Dhabi race was a stone cold robbery. Ferrari are in for a treat. It’s payback time. Max is toast. Stay strong Lewis. Your 8th title awaits. Give them hell.
I've never had heros outside of my Father. However when I look back the Joy , Happyness Pride and Fulfillment Lewis Hamilton has given me and his Fans throughout his Racing Career. I have to will all due respect consider this man a HERO of mine!
I’m a Max fan but regardless, Lewis deserves respect how he handled that defeat and for his skill. I also want to point out his father, I was so impressed by his humility that he showed that day towards Max and Jos. I’m sure Jos would not have reacted that way if he was in Mr Hamilton’s shoes. Respect where respect is due!
He wasn't defeated. He was robbed. That's what made it 1000x harder and what makes it 1000x more impressive that he got up, and he congratulated the man who benefited from the theft.
It's was Not a Defeat, masi gave that race to redbull, how do you just the cars between Mercedes and redbull go by, and not all of the cars, The entire World saw, and Knows what it was.
Hamilton was supposed to lose his championship winning streak more naturally… not by way of manipulation by officials. Max done his job -get the car over the finish line first. So its mot max’s fault it was the fault of the officials.
Even Max himself said he was an instant lewis Hamilton fan after that race as he said himself he wouldn't of been able to do it himself there's so much respect between them its a different lvl to whatnus the fans think we see 👏
I hadn't seen that quote. We have seen Max storm off the podium that year after a race he felt he unfairly lost. I am not a Lewis fan, and I do think that Abu Dhabi win was handed to Max by completely circumventing how the safety car period was handled. Lewis was so far ahead there were three lapped cars between first and second! And lets not forget that Spa that year was rained out but they did three parade laps under safety car and handed max half points for that race. Not to mention that what allowed Red Bull to compete was a change in floor regulations for 2021 specifically planned to slow down Mercedes. F1 wanted a new champion to keep the ratings up, and they made sure that happened in 2021. Kudos to Max though, he is a singular talent. But he wasn't the best driver that year, even if he is the best driver now.
@@rcranes2227 he was the best driver that year, he had 2 more DNFs that weren't his fault, + Hungary where he drove a severely damaged car. So he lost 3 more racing chances to get points, and he still entered the final race level on points. He scored more points per finish, which is sort of how you determine who wins.
@@user-iq4jg1mf7j "fell apart" Lewis had a clearly faster car, and Max secured a P2 finish, which is the best he could manage. Falling apart is more like what Lewis did at Baku, where Max was out of the race and all he had to do was bring it home in P2 to secure a FREE eighteen points (that would make him world champion in retrospect)
Lewis is a gentleman & this incident however unjustified it was Will cement him as one of the all time greats. He is a class act and I hope he keeps going until he wins that 8th title.
To be fair. Max stole nothing, race directors made a decision and max just drove a car and this season he's proving that he didn't need help to win a championship, he has this seasons in the bag with 8 races left
To be honest, yeah Lewis is a great driver, but he has no personality, he is a hypocrate and a sociopath.. not participating in the secret santa last year, missing grill the grid episodes, and lets not forget what happened yesterday, horrible driving and awareness by lewis. "What an idiot, turning in on me from the outside. This guy only knows how to drive when starting first"
Louis shows such good grace in that truly unbelievable situation. I would not have been able to act that way. I have massive respect for him over the way he handled it. He was raised really good by his father and it shows.
They tried to bring him down because of his skin color, but we all know that the 8 time World Champion will rise again. Next year he will win his 9th and silence all Maxipad fanboys and trolls.
The feeling when your world collapse is the worst feeling ever. Hate him or love him, you need to understand that the situation he was in was heartbreaking. The fact that he had the inner power to stand up and walk forward so gracefully... Not everyone is capable of being this strong
yes! He had the race the whole time (even though he might not deserve the wdc overall). Losing in the last lap after such a dominant race must be more than heartbraking

This is the voice of F1 in Belgium. The great Gaetan Vigneron. Sorry for his baguette-english but in French he is fantastic. Rarely makes a mistake, always calm and collected and widely respected by the drivers.
The best commentator for F1. He’s always excited and knows what he’s talking about while staying very neutral and unbiased. Absolutely love watching him on Tipik
The greatest sportsmanship in the history imo. If that was me I would probably not speak to max, not go on the podium and probably lock myself in a room and destroy everything
@Yuri DeKhed honestly do you actually think max verstappen who has shown bad sportsmanship with stuff he said about lewis last year wouldn’t have done the same at his home gp?
This is why #blessed and Max fans are absolutely the worst. Both fueled by hate to esch other and the rival team #1 driver with the addition of Lewis fans being delusional. Jesus.
You simply have to admire him on this one, he got out the car, shook his hand and shared the podium with him without any tantrums or bad words to say, mercedes rightfully tried to prosecute the fia and Lewis told them not to pursue it any longer, he is a champion at heart as much as he is behind the wheel Sir Lewis 💜
@@powerkingez9682 There was actually quite a lot to go after. I actually like things the way they are now, with the best driver on the grid leading the standings and Lewis still there to keep matters from getting boring. Let's face it, the guy does provide glamour, excitement and comedy to the sport.
Sir Lewis is a true legend. He is so under appreciated, and when he retires there will be hole in the sport. I watch F1 because of Seb, Kimi, Danny, Nico, Jensen and him. It is sad to see them exist the sport one by one.

Where as Max crashed into Lewis in Monza and didn't even care to check if Lewis was okay. The biggest difference between Lewis and Max. Max has aggression only and lacks every good aspect of human being and sportsman.
@@rutpshah dont be delusional. Max didnt crash into lewis on monza, the sausage curb launched him in the air, leaving him to land on lewis. But SIR Lewis who got robbed when he was a lap ahead during the last lap, he still shows his character is above all fake ones.
Because he knew what happened there was wrong too. Max slowed down to let Lewis through, and for whatever stupid reason, Lewis decided to not overtake his one and only REAL opponent in the race. There is no excuse that can justify Lewis not just passing Max, even the "brakecheck" people are talking about. And Max was far from lucky that season. Lewis was lucky.
