Under immense pressure are cracks revealed. As great as Max is this season really highlighted how dirty he is willing to go, which is honestly no different to Schumi, Prost or Senna. The only reason why it's highlighted is because compared to other multiple time Champs, Lewis is fairly clean.
I can tell you rn, Max fans would love if anybody else had the balls to actually race like this. It's what made and arguably still makes so fun to watch, specially after years of seeing Mercedes drive away from everybody on race day, and nobody always being so scared to risk a move

This driving is what makes verstappen so loved. He HAS to be so agressive since merc is faster, especially in a straight line. And overtaking oppurtunities are scarse. If verstappen would drive with your mindset, he would've lost the championship. Max is heading to be the best F1 has ever seen. Last year was most certainly the best and most competitive season in about 20 years, what a way to win your first championship

In this gp max deserved a black flag or at least a drive-trough penalty, he received non of that in favor of the “spectacle”. And then abu dahbi happens.
I told a friend after the race they will bring out the VSC or SC or both in the last laps when Lewis is leading in Abu Dhabi. This race was the definition and f the championship is rigged. The brake test alone should have been a drive-through penalty.

Cry some more. If we had to count all the times Lewis or other drivers had to get penalties they didn't get we could be arguing all day about it. Last year the racing was amazing, the FIA was horrible and the Mercedes and Red Bull politics as well. All in all, max deserved champion in a relatively worse car then the mercedes. Bottas breaked to late and lost the grip under rainy conditions, his fault no question about it and Hamilton was side by side before Copse, then both Verstappen and Hamilton made a mistake. I think both deserved it. Max Had much Bad Luck, on the other side he did Some weird moves against Hamilton And "some" and "weird" is very nice tho. i disagree, i think verstappen deserved the championship victory, but i admire your opinion tbh. its a balanced take, which is rare to see these days honestly. i think this race showed max's raw tenacity, i believe by this point of the year the mercedes had gotten faster which shows why max was being so dirty in this race. it was terrible and unsportsmanlike driving from max, but i feel lewis would have been the same in max's position

No doubt he is the best of his generation ? How can you say that when the other drivers who are part of his generation didnt even had the chance yet to really show what they are capable of.
