In this video of Colton Posey Fishing, Colton Posey breaks down a great day on Lewis Smith Lake located in Jasper Alabama, on this episode his buddy @spurmountainoutdoors tags along to hunt down one of the most aggressive and elusive species of Bass The Spotted Bass! Fun fact most of the Spotted Bass giants caught in places like Bullards Bar in California came from Lewis Smith Lake and are known as Alabama Spotted Bass which is renowned for their aggressive behavior and beautiful green back with what we call jewelry which is spots located above the lateral line! Colton and Spur Mountain chase these Bass using three techniques one that Colton is renowned for during the Summer catching suspending Bass on a Jerkbait by working it quicker than most anglers. Spur Mountain uses a common but effective technique known as a Swimbait with a steady retrieve, the other uncommon technique used by both is using a flutter spoon on these suspended Spotted Bass!
