I haven't been fishin since the 80's, and watching you, and a few other channels (lunkers, and googan squad) makes me want to get out there even more, I just got some rods, pulled out some old tackle boxes, and going out to braunig lake this weekend! thanks for the tips on lures and stuff although I'm going cheap on the rods and reels for a while.

I love your videos it has really helped me out I have a tip for you when they hit the banks (action bait ) florence ,alabama 3" grub color pearl with 1/8 oz, lead head no color fish them slow on the bottom , vans sporting goods , and mary carter in cullman,al usually have them or can order directly from action bait, if I ever run across you I will give you a pack

It looks like you found a good spot to fish. Robin looks like he is. (I worked with Lisa at Lawrence medical for 10 yrs)I am not asking where you are fishing but could you narrow down to which county you are fishing in since the lake is in several counties?

I'll have to try that knot!! Love the reel, however, a lot of bait casters don't offer the left hand retrieve option. I like to reel left handed and not have to switch hands with my rod, especially if i"m skipping a lure under brush into shallow water. I want to be reeling as soon as the lure hits. So I stick with spinning reels for the left hand option. Plus, I stink with bait casting. LOL. Cool video!!
