This is really a fun song. I really like how Lexi can take it anywhere. the music/songs she does is just a vast array of different stuff and she does them all great. I'm telling you people we will be hearing this voice for many years to come. I'm so proud of how she represents America like she does, we been needing this in the music industry for a long time in my opinion. thank you Lexi for your hard work and giving us that quality voice. God has really blessed her with that voice and what I can see is a very nice respectful person.
Difficult number Lexi. You performed it wonderfully! I never thought of you acting, I'm going to change my mind about that. You still have the most amazing stage presence I've seen in a long time.
Lexi, you grown up so beautifully, I feel like a proud mother ♡ Jazz really suits your voice, I honestly think you should consider going this direction because this is hands down one of your best performances I've watched! greetings from Brazil xx
Your dress and hair are amazing , and what can I say about your voice it was great when you started out and its getting even better , I'm so proud of you ! Keep going Lexi , and thank you for blessing us all !
Lexi you're just amazing 😃✨ what a perfect performance 😊👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 i can't get enough of your angel-voice 🤗 .no matter what you sing, it alwas sounds unique and gorgeous ✨✨✨ God bless you ❤️
I thought this was a really good number! It was interesting to see you sing something with a little jazz in comparison to all the hymns and slow songs. I'm not saying those are bad, in fact, literally every song is amazing. You could make any song sound like a masterpiece, seriously.
This was so freaking good oh my god. I've always loved your singing but this was an entire performance. Not kidding when I say you should really get into acting because you have that quality. Also you look so much older and gorgeous in this. I am obsessed with the entire video :)
Hearing you sing this, and "Don't Rain On My Parade" is proof that you would be perfect to play Fanny Brice in a Broadway revival of Funny Girl. You are uber talented!
Your voice is beautiful! It's your personality that shines through every performance! I think jazz is fun too! Keep singing because one day you'll be on top!😉
Lexi, I think this is the music you should do. You sang this song so great, compared to the ones on the wishes and dreams album. Don't get me wrong, I liked those too, but I think you're way more talented in that direction.
I think what blows me away the most about Lexi is her confidence. It's almost like the audience isn't even there. You're really an inspiration to other young musicians!
She can sing better than anyone she doesn't even need auto thingy but she doesn't use it cuz her voice is already like a soft cloud and a angel singing to you! And yes your the top!!!! This song was actually meant for you!!!!! And every singer ik some of them can't sing but they have to use auto tune to have there voices better so your just amazing!
omg girl you grew up too wonderfully I may be older than you but I am always learning something from you always thank you for singing such wonderful songs with your wonderful voice from a korean girl who very very likes you 렉시워커 진짜 완전 사랑해ㅠㅜㅠㅜ너무 이쁘게 잘컸다 렉시ㅜㅜㅠㅜ
What say what an amazing per song and tell me you've absolutely love that song I want to see and tackle a rock song one day even a Beatles classic come on I could see you doing that because you got the voice
ok I LOVE Lexi, have for a while, and its probably not my place to say, but because I love her voice, I felt maybe she was tired or something, like she counldnt belt it out and I've heard Lexi be stronger before- BUT LIKE i SAID, ITS really not my place I dont know her personally and THATS A HARD SONG your always singing high I of course love her spirit she was obviously having so much fun but i want her to keep improving as she gets older cause she has sooo much potentcial
"You're The Top" At words poetic I'm so pathetic That I always have found it best Instead of getting 'em off my chest, To let 'em rest - unexpressed. I hate parading my serenading, As I'll probably miss a bar, But if this ditty is not so pretty, At least it'll tell you how great you are. You're the top! you're the Collosseum, You're the top! you're the Louvre Museum, You're the melody from a symphony by Strauss, You're a Bendel bonnet, A Shakespeare Sonnet, You're Mickey Mouse! You're the Nile! You're the Tow'r of Pisa, You're the smile, on the Mona Lisa! I'm a worthless check, a total wreck, a flop! But if baby I'm the bottom, You're the top! You're the top, you're Mahatma Gandhi, You're the top! you're Napoleon brandy, You're the purple light, of a summer night in Spain, You're the National Gallery, you're Garbo's salary, You're cellophane! You're sublime, you're a turkey dinner, You're the time, of the Derby Winner, I'm a toy balloon that's fated soon to pop; But if baby I'm by the bottom you're the top! You're the top, you're a Waldorf salad You're the top, you're a Berlin ballad You're the nimble tread of the feet of Fred Astaire You're an O'Neal drama, you're Whistler's mama, you're camembert You're a rose, you're inferno's Dante You're the nose, on the great Durante I'm a lazy lout who's just about to stop But if baby I'm the bottom, You're the top!
OMG this freaking cute kid.. ❤🙂 What a little beauty from within too.. 💖✨ Great souls like her is why I am so thankful to join the lds faith we both truly have in common now.. LOVE THAT fact. Love her 👏👏 💞 Just got the Aaronic Priesthood I believe is a tremendous blessing right on par with this terribly wonderful, little ladie's voice 🎶💝 🎶
Many stars in rock and pop turn to the classics for inspiration, Linda Ronstadt, Rod Stewart, even Bob Dylan to name a few. Of course they were a bit older than 15 when they started singing the classics. Some song history- "You're the Top" was composed by Cole Porter in 1934 for the Broadway production of "Anything Goes". And performed on Broadway by one of the greatest musical performers of all time- Ethel Merman. So the pedigree here could not be any better. I have felt for sometime Lexi is destined for Broadway, and she seems to love the performing as much as the singing. She will be great whatever she does, I know that.
