Lexicon MX400XL Effects Processor Demonstration 

We have this unit, along with an Alesis MidiVerb 4. The Lexicon blows it away and I find it to be a very solid unit with lots of usable effects. The UI isn't as tedious as it looks. This video simply doesn't do the justice, so check one out if you get the chance.

In my opinion Harman International should prevent having people demoing their Lexicon line on RU-vid as it may turn away potential customers. Aren't the effects processors designed to run vocals and instruments through them instead of patching in a pre-recorded music?

Bill..... Are you sure you knew enough about this box before you reviewed it?? You can still use both stereo inputs and have two separate stereo effects going to a single (or separate) stereo output(s). You can also run 4 mono (or 1 stereo and 2 mono) effects each with its own input and output or you can configure the outputs as necessary. For example, you could have 2 or 3 or all 4 mono effects combine to a single mono output or any of the various configurations that are possible. This gives you a lot of options for setting up FX Sends and Returns on your mixer You may as well have demo'd the MX200 if you weren't going to bother using all four channels of processing capability and the output routing capabilities. There are also a lot of other features besides the routing that you never mentioned... basically, the other 80% of the unit. lol

Would have been nice to hear some vocals, which is the only reason I pressed play on this video

somebody put vocals on for christ sake so we can hear what the effects sound like

Or an analog synt ;) And he would have realized that no one can se whats on the display when he tells about it in the start of the video:P

Wow, atrocious review. It's a good idea to review and test a unit with live sound, a voice, instrument, etc., and testing a stereo unit in stereo. Hit the bypass button on this review.

every demo this guy has done is crap he knows nothing.

Gearwire are responsible for some of the worst demos in the history of the universe, its like they are a comedy show or something, come on audio stuff this bad.
