Given your age I was impressed with the way you described and presented this video, well done mate. Also funny that you are driving through my local town!
I have a 2020 (70 plate) Peugeot Kisbee but honestly I really want an Echo Plus 50! I don’t know why but something really appeals about it and I’m trying to resist the urge to get the echo+ when my kisbee comes back from the shop because I guess it’s an unnecessary cost
You should get one mate, you only live once! No point settling for less man, you've been on my channel for a while and you've been involved in my channel quite a bit, its a shame to see you not finally on one yet. Go for it mate!
Good vlog Bigman. the HP of the Echo 50 is 2.4 the Echo plus is 4.0 HP. I have owned the Echo for 11 months and it's been a great bike but it's like a snail uphills (20 MPH average) so i am part exchanging it for the Echo plus which i hope the extra HP will get me and the 20 car's stuck behind me up those hill's a little faster : ) I used to own a Suzuki Katana liquid cooled 50cc scooter and loved it, it used to do about 40MPH All the best, I'm going to watch your video of the Katana now : )
@@youraveragejoe1 Hi joe the plus is a better bike and does have more power and better handling cos of the bigger wheels, goes slightly faster up hills too. I like the plus it a good bike will start first time. don't get the normal echo get the plus.
This video is 2 years old but i just watched it now. Can you please tell me that how does lexmoto echo 50 behaves in extreme cold weather (december, january and february) in the morning. Does its engine gets started at first kick or not? I want to use this bike for delivery purpose. Thanks in advance :)
I have owned a simular scooter a Sonic simplified fork and drumbrakes but over and all the same bike. I liked it a tuff nut, hit hard by a car bullseye as an result there where som cracks running a cross the floorpanel, nothing more. The bad thing about it was the way I have to drive it, full throttle, there was nothing in between, very sluggish the same thing as with those One types Baotian One TaoTao One etc and they are what they are, well one can make them go faster much faster but they will stay sluggish. These machines are truly low budget, old technology.
Exactly that, im glad you and your bike come out of that crash relatively unscathed, but as you say, theyre low budget. There's better 50cc's on the market as these are slow to go but they do the job and they look pretty stylish for a moped. Im selling this bike in just under a week unfortunately but I would like to see who has it and their experiences with it
@@bigmanlogo959 Yeah quite good looking people liked it selling was no problem. Well, I patched up the floor and off it went and for me I was patched up too , my right arm ended up baked in plaster. Off it went and I took my self a time out from scootering but it is so dam fun and back I am! This time I bought my self a decent one, same build as a 200cc. New generation, very sturdy and actually nippy to bee a scooter, the dam thing kicks dirt on gravel roads on the go and it still restricted well almost anyway.. I feel safe with this new one it is a totaly different thing no longer that cheap but still very affordable. The Chinese has a rapid development there are several shanges made to the GY6 engine and the transmission but they do not talk about it and I suppose that no one here around will belive it anyway but they do write about these changes on their own sites.
Yeah it does but I highly suggest not relying on it as your locking mechanism. Use the steering lock but also buy a hardened steel lock such as a kryptonite chain lock
It does alright, I'm a pretty big lad and where I live had a pretty decent sloped road. I get like 27mph going up that road but I'm assuming you're a lot lighter therfore you'll easily do max speed going uphill. I hope I helped :)
id say if you're able to afford or ride the Hunter I believe its called I highly recommend it, its much more nippy than the echo but some countries like mine don't let us ride 125cc's until we're 17. I hope I helped
@bigmanlogo959 thankyou I know it's a silly question but I've only ever looked at geared bikes so I was a little confused and wanted to make sure Thanks for replying so quick
@bigmanlogo959 thanks mate and I might aswell ask you I turned 16 in April and saved enough money to do cbt, should I do it or wait till I'm 17 or actually have a bike? I'm most likely going to buy any 125 I can get my hands on and wait to ride it as I'm still looking for work right now anyway to afford one lol
@@bl-zr2we my suggestion is do it maybe 2 or 3 months before you plan on going on the road, the issue I had is I done it and got a 50cc a week after my 16th birthday, done my cbt, I then only had 1 year of riding a 125cc and then I have to do it again, I don't wanna do it again so I've not renewed it, if you wanna wait for a 125, it'll be more expensive to insure the 125 as your starter bike, but it'll be cheaper than 50cc insurance, then 125cc insurance
If u wanna make it fastar take the belt covre offf and take a Big round bolt and it derestrict it and get a 100 kit on it be rapide u get obout 65 mph out it
@@trooper_bean4986 ill do a video on that in a few weeks. Although this video is almost that itself I see what you mean, I'm assuming you want a more Top Gear-esque type video?
Bigmanlogo yup that’s what I’m going for this will be my first ever moped so I’m just trying to get the best advice and stuff before I get out on the roads
@@trainell yeah totally, luckily for me I've only got 2 months until I get my 125 on the road but it has been a burden sitting at 30 all the time, I would suggest buying the box and the compatible plug and then swap the wires to the compatible plug and see if that works?
@@trainell so undo the seat box, under there if you were to sit on it it'll be basically opposite where the lock is, its a small black box on a rubber gasket type thing
@@bf7132 you have to be 17+ and have a valid cbt, you then do a few lessons and do an a1 (or a2 if youre over 19, gives you more range of power of bikes) and then you can take L plates off and have a passenger
nice video, i have a suzuki katana ay50 its two stroke pretty decent to be fair i get around 50mph on it top speed on a straight and acceleration is good
Have you tried to tune your carburetor. Maybe purchasing a larger main jet will be better. This gives you more fuel top end which results in more power top end
@@Will-kr7mg this bike has an electronic limiter. Basically under the seat is a box which limits the amount of current to the spark plug once past 30mph. I'll do a video in a couple of week of me derestricting my one. But once you unplug the blue wire, I believe it doesn't limit the current, making it like it was factory in Asia, which is derestricted
@@mrlegend9225 you cannnnn get them derestriced but its a difficult job I've been told, but if you have the patience for it my friend has gotten 50 on it regularly as unrestricted, restricted is still 32 as normal
@@bigmanlogo959 im not usually so moany, but the electronics are a contant problem, mine dies roughly every 3 months, its now in the garage because after just 2 days of not riding the battery died, they put a new one in... The 3rd new regulator burst into flames.. And the wire loom needs replacing.. The first electrical issue i had was when i was riding to work and the indicators just gave up, needing my first new regulator, this was when the bike was only 6 weeks old....and its been downhill from there
