Looks like a really nice bike. But You have now brought out the adv 125, so the question is when are you folks going to be doing a ride out review on it? As I really don't know which scooter to go for.
I own this bike quite happy with it so far done 1400 miles but For some reason when you try to find this modal bike on any insurance date base online you will find its not listed. When I bought the bike I had a lot of trouble trying to insure it as it's not listed. 5 months down the line I thought I'd check with different insurance companies and again not one insurance company has this model bike when you do a search. When I was trying to get a quote when I first bought the bike I contacted lexmoto to inform them of the problem that the bike was unknown to insurance company and they was no help. You would have thought they bring a new bike out to help sales that you get something like this sorted and inform insurance companies about the model bike....... Update i have now sold the bike didn't want the same problem have now AJS 125cc bike and cost me £140 for the year
@leeboslounge1690 the quotes I had was 1500-2000 but one company when I put the reg in came up as a different model of bike of the same value and costing only 250, so mines registered that way, strange as hell. I agree, a real headache.
@@dukeyboy3016 i had the same thing bike came up as a titan. Your taking a risk though as technically your not insured as it a different modal on your policy
i like the brake test the rider performed. i haven't ridden a bike for about 12 years but seeing this test ride makes me want to go out a buy this model bike. on my previous non abs bikes i have always adjusted the brakes by trail and error for front and rear so that you have maximum stopping power keeping full grip of the road without the wheels locking up on you. i suppose that is something abs does automatically on modem bikes considering much of my past bikes have been classics from the 70's 80s and 90s. I'm impressed by this bike seeing its only 125. although i could see this bike being tempting for the eyes of thieves.
It sure is a good looking bike which does attract attention, but you need to be smart with any bike you own and make sure you take every precaution in keeping it safe with security products. Let us know if you get a Nexus!
nice bike loos to tick a lot of boxes .. seeing some decent lower prices at moment with a few hundred miles on clock .. probably ex demo .. id say more than wirth it for fun factor ..
This looks best in the market with lexmoto prices. I like the looks of it almost as if some has planted that French make style of bike on the front 😂, I would also like to trade in my aura for this if I could 😛
Hi everyone I have just brought the lexmoto nexus 125cc new as shown in this video. It's a lovely bike but I find it to be very loud. This is my first bike and I have only just passed my CBT so I have no experience or insight. Can any tell me if this is normal or how to overcome this. Thank you
@@douglasjfalcon9110 Hi Douglas, when you picked up your new Nexus the dealer should have given you some new owner documents and explained that we have our own service intervals that might be different to what the factory specifies in their owners manual. After years of reliability improvements to our bikes we extended our service intervals, allowing you to ride longer without having to pay for another service. All of these should be available to see within your MyLexmoto account, found here > my.lexmoto.co.uk/login.php Hopefully that clears that up! Safe riding
Throttle response is good! The bike wont be moving lightning quick from a quick twist as it is quite heavy, but you will get a smooth power progression through the revs once you keep it open
Been riding the Lexmoto Aura 125 for 3 years, think I'm sold on this upgrade and ready for the trade in, can't beat that price for the spec. The only things that could be improved imo is ABS as standard and the filmsy looking rear indicators housed in the rear fairings.
Despite the high weight for a 125 it seems to have quite good pick up to around 50 mph. The last few mph seemed to be a bit of a struggle but a 60 cruising speed for a 125 isn't bad. What is the estimated mpg?
The weight is very well distributed. It weighs 40 kg more than my old lexmoto chieftain but I can move it almost like it weighs half the amount. Honestly you don't even notice the weight on this bike.
Loving the new bike all the added features I must ask thow I'm a large tall chap at 6"4 I fit great on my honda forza 125 would you say it would fit great on the nexus
Hey, amazing to hear you're a Nexus rider! It doesn't have an alarm that makes a noise, but once you lock the bike with the fob it will be immobilised. If someone was to move the bike it will flash the indicator lights
