As usual an enjoyable informative video. A couple of points may ha been worth a mention. No clutch, no gears simply twist n go. The beeping indicators also warn a pedestrian that you are about to turn a corner he or she maybe about to cross. Not realising the silent scooter is approaching! As I mentioned in a previous reply my Ni GT is due for delivery on Tuesday. I'll never forget owning the Harley's.

My son has one. They are low and very light, perfect for smaller beginners. No good for exploring or trips because of range but perfect for commuting and shopping. His boss lets him charge it at work so minimal cost. As they are so good at slow speeds, I am using it to practise manoeuvres for my CBT. Excellent little scooter.

Looks like a modern day version of a Honda Melody or Suzuki Love that were popular for female mobile hair dressers in the 1980 ‘s .Same as all these small electric Peds handy for around the city or nipping to the local shops or supermarket .A top box would give it more physical presence & carrying capacity.for shopping or commuting to work .Lexmoto should ask the Chinese factory to knock out a three wheeler version for a mobility market ,it would be better than the 4- 8 mph pavement scoots the disabled are fobbed off with .👍

It's faster than most 50cc Scooters It's only a problem to those who think there slow or don't have any road sense

@@RevBombUK The traffic goes usually between 30-37 mph. This bike top speed is 29. Never safe if the vehicle knows barely the speed limit. If it could go 37, than I'd say it's ok. Currently it's useable in a huge city's center, where the average speed is around 20 mph.

@@csipi89 legal limit on a 50cc or equivalent is 30mph if your doing 37 in town your speeding And the petrol equivalent is 30mph as well this just gets to speed quicker

Impulse was discontinued but the cypher is still available from lexmoto

My wife bought this bike from new but how do we change the kph to mph on the display, also it has a clock function top right again how do we set it and lastly the Bluetooth function is there a UK mobile app.... other than that we love this bike...

Press and hold button to change to miles the other button pressing and hiding will bring up the clock setting due to upload a video of this in the next few days At the moment the app is still in development

I guess I'll never find a worthy replacement for my current electric moped. There are at least four features that most modern electric moped lacks that mina has: 1. Regenerative braking - doesn't save much battery but I love the feeling and I would definitely miss it, and it saves the environment a bit from brake dust. 2. Reverse mode - Yes, I actually need that. I park my moped in a bicycle room and it's a steep slope up to the door, and there's not much space in there, so I find it most practical to go up there in reverse). 3. My hub motor (4 kW, by the way) has a removable rim mounted on it, so with an extra rim I can easily change to my winter tyres and back every year. 4. The head lights follow when I turn left and right I could probably live without point 4, but the other three are very important to me. Any recommendations, anyone? 👍

The yadea g5 cant be unrestricted but others can by holding the throttle open and holding the front brake and turning on the ignition for 5 seconds with the throttle open and brake held

Great review thanks! Is this definite regarding de-restricting for the Yadea G5? I saw someone on the Lexmoto Facebook page say that they did restrict theirs. Do you prefer this over the impulse or vice versa? Looking to purchase something like this.
