I was there in the LR defender , I love the new GX 550 and had a great time . Didn’t even notice the RCF FSE was following in the line up with us but saw it earlier it is stunning !
The GX 500 is 🔥 mechanical engineering background. The GX 550 is the way to go it is the fair compromise. Brother; I lien the over tail plus 75,000. The problem with the LX is the price and yes you’re getting a bigger SUV but the LX is going to start at $90,000 you could get a top-of-the-line GX over trail plus which will have the same engine that’s in the LX and the Toyota tundra for this reason I recommend getting the GX 550 you could go with the LX 460 but your engine is going to be like that at the Toyota Tacoma GX 550 is the best compromise in terms of price power and gas and if you’re gonna get an off-road then you want to either get the overt or overt plus I recommend the over trail plus that’s my favorite I’m going to be my next car but I’m going to get it a couple of years used to save some money . Do the 3 years 40 percent off trick. You should be able to get a good used one for $50,000 out the door. It you have the money then get it new. For me the big daddy Alex is not worth it because if you want to add some features it’s over $100,000 and all you’re getting is just more space did GX 550 has the perfect size engine and gas the problem with the LX is you’re going to get the same output as your Toyota tundra so you might as well get an actual truck
Mike are you a salesperson or do you work for Lexus corporate? I just wish there was a bit less of the shiny black trim. Seems kind of like the wrong move on an off roader that's supposed to be rugged. Gimme a body color roof and let me keep my off road wheels and tires!
