ive had my 16 is200t since it came out and it’s currently at 83k miles i might start doing alls the mods uve done with urs u got a new sub 🤙🏽 i havent done a single mod the touchscreen 10inch car play this spark plug and changing the lca bushing(rr racing) is one of the first few ill be doing but the tire wear issue usually happens too the f sport models i have the regular is200t
hey! i’ve done my plugs twice and both times they were to spec, even on their product description it is to spec. the only thing is that someone may have returned the product and messed with the gapping or the plugs didn’t come with the little cardboard protector. i’d says probably won’t need to check but it doesn’t hurt to be cautious also 👍🏼
youre supposed to change them every 40k miles according to the owners manual. turbo motors will burn them faster. it does increase mpg and will increase performance but not a big difference.
Hey, yes it is my daily. It really depends on your needs and expectations. Some people on facebook groups expect this to use unleaded gas and don't want to pay for premium octane and even complain about mpgs. Of course this is not a race car nor a gas saver but still does well in both categories. For this generation IS the biggest problem everyone has encountered would have to be the front inner tire wear due to the soft lower control arm bushings. But this can be replaced/upgraded to correct it. the 4cyl turbo model has a vacuum regulator problem where the vehicle would surge while accelerating but updated regulator and hose is the fix. Also if you are into modifications its very very limited on performance mods. Downpipe makes it smell like fumes because of no cats obviously and tuning capabilities could be better. Currently have 110k miles and haven't had any major issues. I've just done the maintained required on the manual and its been treating me well. Hope this helps.
