This is detailed video of how to install back up camera. This camera is not compatible with Toyota Lexus OEM stereo. This will work for any aftermarket stereo Android or non Android
You seem to have quite a lot of patience installing all of this stuff, the Tesla style head unit and this backup camera and you take the time to do a good job, that's the way I like to do things also. I don't really feel like I have the patience for things like this like I used to have when I was younger but I always manage to get it done. I think it's watching someone else do it first and knowing all of the steps that I'm in for when it's my turn, lol, I get a bit of anxiety watching someone else do it. I wonder why they didn't make the head unit compatible with the original backup camera? That seems odd to me, do you have any idea why you can't use the original one? Thanks again for another how-to video.
I really like the new stereo. I like the sound quality and every feature that comes in it. It’s a giant Android tablet that is compatible with every Android app. I love it’s apple CarPlay and android auto and many other features.
@@CrazyforCruiser I am an Android guy, so Apple CarPlay is not a feature for me, I know I am in the minority. Hope your summer is staying cool and no fires up there in Alaska. I think I am ready to pull the trigger on the head unit. I assume you got yours off of eBay? Thanks again for making an easy-to-follow video and sharing your opinion.
I got my head unit from phoenixautomotiveinc.com and backup camera from crutchfield.com. I also have a video on my channel on how to install Android head unit. If you have questions I will be happy answer them.
