It's a shame Leyland took the backward step in fitting the O.680 on a bus that was supposed to be all new and looking forward. The 510 sounded more modern and was ok as long as there were plenty of replacement engines in stock. Maybe the front mounted radiator combined with a better quality built 510 would have worked out?
