Well you know I'm very pleased with my 300, but that does look to be a good improvement, particularly with the wider angle. Lezyne do seem to make good stuff, can't say I've noticed much in the way of bad reviews of their products anywhere, so yes, well worth a look.
@@JamesSocialCyclinghey man ! Question . Off road on the mountains does this light give you that high brightnes steay ( not blinking ) at the highest flash!?
@@KlodianHysi I have a funny feeling this has a full on light, but does not say this on the light setting chart. I’m away from home now, but back late Friday, will check and do a short to show you on Saturday. Thanks for dropping by😊👍
@@KlodianHysi apologies, been a busy week and was shattered yesterday, gets the short showing the light working full on at 200 and 400 lumens. It flickers but that’s the camera ru-vid.commpftknCBKNA?si=G7dUADKkvx_da-sU
So the 400+ doesn't have the alert flash technology where the light turns solid red then flashes when you apply brakes firmly then returns to the flashing pattern it was set on when you pedal again? There's also a 400+ with Ai... I am going to see iif it has the alert brake flashing technology. I currently have a 300 and a 150 both with the alert flashing technology but I wish they would give me a little more than 2.5 hrs in that mode. I usually cycle with two so that I can swap out when one of them loses charge since my rides are often three to four hours on my mountain bike. I also have a front "to be seen" Zecto which seems to last forever on a single charge.... same for the red Zecto I clip to my bike bag... the battery life is incredible!
Zecto’s are good, but just don’t like the shape and 250 lumens I think, don’t quote me. This version does not have the brake technology. I’ve just gone for the be seen, as some drivers don’t know what the solid light means🫣😊 Appreciate you dropping by and commenting😊👍
What a wonderful presentation. The host explained the differences between the old light and new light. Most importantly he gave the viewers a very clear straight on look at the different modes, day and night, also explaining battery life for each mode. I've seen lots and lots of light reviews, but this one was the best I've seen so far because it was so well explained and thorough. Good camera angles too. Im looking forward to buy both models because of the great battery life and the different modes. I want to thank the host for this impressive and fairminded review :)
Firstly thank you very much for the kind comments and feedback. I sometimes need to be reminded why I started the channel and that was because I was fed up of hearing half the how to do and always a paid review with not enough information to make a valued choice. I will remember to always model my up and coming reviews on this review to make sure I get across enough information across. Very kind and have a good day😊👍
@JamesSocialCycling I appreciate your excellent response, your review was excellent and very helpful. Im new to your channel. I look forward to watching the other videos on your channel. Please keep up your thorough review style because it is very helpful to people like me, thanks again my friend :)
@@cedricbethea take some of my videos with a pinch of salt please😂 I always like to give a detailed unbiased view on products. Well it’s not as if I’m be paid for the like😊 Thank you again😊👍
James, I'm still waiting for my 400 to show up from Amazon USA after you did the short vid for me, it's got a bit of a delay for the last mile (supposed to be delivered last Thur) but since it's Amazon i guess the purchase is fully protected. Anyway, i have also gotten the 300 as well from China Taobao, came across a good deal on it, all in incld shipping + GST tax it is only GBP 27 after converting from my local currency. I might get another 300 if it is good, use it as a helmet light.
New 300 has better battery life. I’ve not used Amazon USA so can’t comment, always use UK based dealers, or so I think sometimes, I reckon some items come from EU but as long as I don’t get duty charges I’m good. Glad you went with the 400, won’t be disappointed 😊👍
Thanks Hugh, you always have to take them with a pinch of salt. But happy to say I could have had at least 13 hours out of the 400 lumens and I don’t even think I needed to run it at that high output either. 200 flash is suitable enough and double the run time. Thanks for the view and comment, appreciated 😊👍
Thanks for the comment appreciated. As you’ve probably noticed I’m no pro film maker and this video was the very first using my new DJI mic and as you can see and hear I found out the hard way that it’s not a plug and play. I’ve hopefully rectified this for future videos. Try not to be harsh to creators who have a world of knowledge in their field, but not others.
I didn't have any problems hearing this video at all. Maybe this particular viewer needs a new phone or tablet because he's the only I see in the comments complaining. Also, the most important thing is seeing how the light looks in different modes. This video is super helpful to many on the fence and potential buyers.
