Hi, how did you know the problem was the IC and not the transformer? I have a LG 50pj350, I have sound but not picture. I suspect is the Y-sus because the measure in the -Vy is 20v and should be 198v and the VSC measures 18v and should be 135v. Caps are good, diods are good. Any sugestion to repair?
If an AC to DC power supply check primary and secondary voltage in circuit. Transformers do a simple job, increase or decrease voltage. If the voltages check out check other parts. Knowing the function of the IC is necessary to know how to test it or blame it for a fault.
Hi I have similar problem, the Tv shuts off randomly sometimes for 2 minutes and sometimes for 2 hours and after that it can't be turned on for about 2-3 minutes,when that happen TV goes to factory settings every time and i need to set up everything again,the voltages are all seems to be correct,is it possible that the eeprom is bad? I need help. I order a power supply board for lg 32lv2500. After install the tv worked but it power off itself and the power light blinks and there was a clicking sound. After several attempts to get it to power on the mainboard give off a spark.
