Hello from the uk. i have one of these Centum machines. Bought october 2016 and it is amazing! i have never seen a machine spin with zero vibration regardless if it has one item or is packed. i really am impressed in the engeneering and quality of it.
I dont confirm that My friends have Slim lg washer they were washing "small load" on quick 30 as its made for small loads and the Machine was Stuck at final spin at balancing like on first balancing phase IT was ok but when Machine was speeding up the drum movement increased and Machine stop and continued doing that until we didnt decided to spin them at service mode with jumping and that balancing shows how weak shock abosobers are
can be quiter but you need space, for the space you need bigger outer drum, what happend? for bigger space between inner outer space there required more water = more water consumption?
got this LG Centum FH6F9BDS2 Smart Washing amazing cant hear it spin at 1600rpm its amazing washing machine and added wifi smart lets my mobile know its finished . cant have a washer without the steam now its great for bedding and bath towels
@@zanussi_and_aeg_fan your name is Zanussi aeg fan ofc you don't like these 🙄 also these centums are already five years old you wrote this about a five year old machine that you probably never tested
@@stickysquirrel5687 I have one... And in some countries they still sell those. Due to the balacing balls it mostly can't spin without clothes (on the tubclean cycle for example). It takes ages to balance and needed to be repaired twice when it was new. I don't really like it for other reasons too, but a positive thing is that its 8 years now and ot still works.
I thought LG Direct Drive doesnt vibrate and shake. That's what LG used to claim! I have an LG and the drum really vibrates. It's convenient to advertise that its now shakes next to the Centum.
20 years warranty for motor, for which there are multiple protections in place, such as overheating, while the warranty for PCB is what? 5 years at most? Circuit boards have electrolytic capacitors which may go bad in 8-10 years; some pcbs have some resin on them to prevent oxidation, you can't even repair them.
Never come across a totally potted PCB in a white good. Normal thing that dies are relays (burnt contacts) - easily repairable. Capacitors would be equally easy to replace but never come across that as a problem.
Drain pump will likely go out before the motor as well. Hoses will get dry and brittle after 20 years, not to mention the fact that LG uses cheap fingerclamps and 3M 800 on all hoses, so that's definitely gonna dry out, the clamps are gonna rust, and the hoses will start leaking way before that motor gives up. But, it wouldn't surprise me if the main board goes bad within two years either.
Ifb with conventional system we have 2 for more than 10 years with almost nil issuem. Who needs feature. All we need is durability and trouble free machine and does the job well. I had bad impression in lg when we got our first washing machine troubling multiple times within 5 years
20 year motor warranty my a**, brushless inverter motors rarely breakdown, the inverter pcb, controllers, sleeves, gaskets, and bearings usually conk out first. Give us 20 year warranty on the whole damn thing, only then will I be impressed.
Centum System is has less vibration because it has a new damping system but DD ( Inverter Direct Drive ) is the motor which is the thing that spin the drum plus DD Is only 10 Year Warranty But Centum Sytem Has 20 Years warranty
Yeah I was happy with it until I discovered that the spider the most important part in this washer is made of cheap aluminium it did crumble to dust after just three years of continuous use and guess what this part is not included in the warranty this is the thing that did bothers me so much why spending so much money on a whole new suspension system and not doing also on one of the most important parts in the washer
I watched some videos about samsung washers with spider issue as you described, it seems the material was corroded by the washing powder. It might be wise to use extra rinse or run an empty cycle (no laundry) from time to time to rinse the excess washing powder residue from the spider.
@@nilsfrahm1323 do you think so trust me I did my absolute best to preserve it after all it was so fucking expensive I did expected to last at least 5 years or more I follow the instructions step by step never ever used powder soap in it just the HE liquid as the manual says with the right amount as well and used the tub cleaning cycle twice a month After further research I discovered that washing detergent has nothing to do with it if you did use too much detergent you will end up with a smelly machine that's all which it did never happen to me the corrosion is simply cuz by putting two different type of metals together eventually the stronger one which is the stainless steel drum well attack the weaker one the aluminium spider arm and this chemical reaction would be faster if you do live in a hard water area as my case
@@abdelkaderelbachir9523 They are making unreliable machines, using cheapest materials, while making the design pretty to fool the customer. A machine with average price may be better option, as none is built to last. There are professional washing machines that may have high endurance, these consumer washing machines are way less reliable.
So there’s another gasket in the back of the drum? Some people cannot keep the door gasket clean and mold-free. Well, have fun with another gasket. LG’s Centrum System is nice in the theory as it reduces the sound the plastic outer drum usually emits, but in my eyes it comes with much bigger disadvantage. The area behind the metal drum is one of the worst rinsed areas in a washing machine and thus should be as smooth as possible. Adding a gasket there is a very bad idea.
Using fabric softener and low temperatures is the worst thing you can do to a washing machine. If people stopped using fabric softener and washed regularly at 60 or 90, nobody would have stinky washing machines.
@@PaulHojda I fully agree. Unfortunately, fabric softeners are a must to many customers and low water temperatures are more or less forced by energy labels, textile makers and detergent producers. The average consumers don't think much about physics and chemistry in their washing machines. The goal for washing machine makers should be: How can we improve hygiene in our machines? Instead, they introduce questionable features - like the above suspension system - and create more and more problems.
+RafaelOmoriBr Not the same, looks like LG just completely isolated the inner tub from the outer tub. Which means the inner tub "floats" on the suspension, which is cool as fuck!
Where is the innovation? I mean I have a video form 7 years ago where yo show the same about the “new” technology, in that old video you show the convencional motor mounted in 4 axels and the new DD system was mounted in this new suspension , the same thing that you show now, so wtf?
I am doing laundry as I type in a 33 year old whirlpool direct drive top load. It has had one water pump in that time. My granny paid 238.00 for it in 1986. No warranty on anything at this point. I bet it goes 3-5 more years before needing a repair. They know how to build these machines so that they last. You should get tired of the appliance before it gets tired of you🙄
From TURKİYE I'M SO HAPPY WİTH MY LG 7KG İNVERTER MOTOR WASHİNG MACHİNE. 8YEARS AGO İ BOUGHT. İT WORKS SUPER AS THE FİRST DAY İ STAETED İT. LOVELY LG. AND HOPE U'LL SURPRİSE ME 17KG LG WASHİNG MACHİNE. COZ İ NEED ONE FOR BLANKETS. 😍😘🤗☺️
