As someone who attempted to rebuilt a broken automatic transmission (it ran OK for a while) after high school, this lady is pretty good at figuring things out without the manual. Fun to watch this video.
Thank you @kimchee94112 for your kind kind comments. Hope you got to building another transmission in your later years! I think it's so much fun to put things together
Excellent Julie!! I'm happy to hear that the video helped you. I was confused too but if there's a will there's a way ! Yay! You did it. Hope you get your sucking on! It's fun! Lol && don't forget to clean out the filter every now and then!
I appreciate the video as it was very informative and enthusiastic! I just got this vacuum for Christmas. How has it held up? Are you still happy with it? Thanks again.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I still use it often. There could be some improvements like anything else. I use it almost everyday and it's still working. I hate rinsing the filter but it's cool that there's an extra one. The battery thing can be annoying but it's not bad bc I pretty much vacuum as often as I could. I have it out so I see it and it makes me want to use it. It's still fun to use. I hate changing the roller but it serves it's purpose and it makes a big difference with which roller you use for the surface. It's not the best but it works for our house. Hope you're enjoying yours!
@@KhammanyOnEarth Thanks for the reply! We are very happy with it. It beats our older corded shark vacuum. While the batteries may not last as long when it’s in the most powerful mode, we are happy there are 2 batteries and no cords to trip over or unplug. Definitely 2 thumbs up in our household. Have a great week!
Love the smile u present when unboxing the vacuum. Lol. I just bought my 1st LG stick vacuum. Haven't unboxed it yet,, found ur tube channel via the search under LG. So how do u like it so far. I watched a few other of your posts, it's nice that u like getting into DIY projects. Keep it going, girl....
New gadgets are so much fun!!! It brings happiness! Haha I really like it. I also like the two different brush bc one goes on our tile floor and the other is for our rug. And we don't wear shoes or house slippers on the rug so it makes sense to me now haha. Plus it does clean it differently. LG really thought this one through. Thanks for stopping by and check out my other videos. I call it my archive and I'm still surprised that ppl view some of my videos.
Since it needs to recharge in the stand, and the stand needs to be near an electrical outlet, did you decide to keep it out all the time against a wall or do you only keep it out to charge and then hide it away somewhere? If I did upgrade to a stick vacuum I'd probably go with a corded one so I could just hide it in a closet when done using it. They might be more powerful too. Plus the cost of replacement batteries for this unit is currently outrageous.
I still have this one and it still works well for our house. We use it interchangeably with the corded hoover vacuum just bc our dogs shed a lot. I find I use the LG almost everyday... If not for the rugs, then the stairs or the entry way. It's quick, light and easy. The kitchen gets messy when cooking too so it's a fast easy clean up. However bigger heavy duty long cleaning does require the corded vacuum bc the LG battery doesn't last long especially when on the tubi mode.
I purchased mine a week ago and mine didn’t come with the two nozzles. It only came with the universal and pet nozzle. But I have all hard floors and some rugs. My question to you, do you tend to use both nozzles ? So far, I like the universal nozzle- I did noticed that it doesn’t pick up like popcorn kerns. Not sure if it would be different with the hard floor nozzle
Maybe the universal one is meant for both? I'm not really sure how that one looks like, but it is sometimes annoying have to switch it off for different surface, so maybe thats why they came out with the universal. Not too sure.
Hi, a quick question! Even I couldn’t figure out the sliding piece. I fixed everything and then saw your video & got to know that its used to store the 2nd head. Now how do i dismantle the stand and slid it through it? I’m not able to find a way to dismantle it. Please help me out!
That one was tricky! The two pieces from the top of the stand. There's a dark piece attached to the light grey pole. If you hold the pole from the back and use your thumb to lift the darker piece it'll come off and you can slide the extra piece through and then put the top back on. Make sure you are facing the extra piece the correct way before putting the top back on. I would suggest to slide the extra piece on first, hang the extra brush and then return the top piece. Hope that was understandable and good luck!
@@dennisgriffin3920 I made the same mistake of not sliding the optional nozzle holder first and then putting the charging station on it and thought am stuck! Then found this video and somehow was able to wiggle the charging station out of the charging stand pole (light grey pole). Thank you all!
How am i suppused to use the two batteries, like to I leave one in the auxillary battery station until the main one breaks, or will it overcharge and get ruined
I used it twice and it needs to be fully charged. Once the battery ran low on the first one then switch it with the second one from the dock. At first, I thought it was going to keep overcharging it, but there's an indicator informing of the charge. Once it's done charging the light is gone. Hope that helps! I'm still new to it.
KhammanyOnEarth don't you think its better just to leave one battery in the charging station until the one your using completely is overused and gone bad?
Both batteries will charge while on the dock. The other battery is for backup. I think one battery will last about 40mins (depending on suction strength). Depending on how much vacuuming is needed then one would need the second battery to finish up the job. It's fun to vacuum with the LG. I lost track of time and just wanted to vacuum everything. It took me awhile so I was glad there was a backup battery. Also, once the battery is charged on the dock... I turn off my surge protector. I don't like to leave things plugged in.
We just bought it yesterday after returning Dyson v11. We did get $100 off as well. I am seriously hoping it's better than Dyson because Dyson is great when it wants to work but also seems too delicate to be able to use it too much. It craps out frequently.
@@Wajiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii I've never owned a dyson but I've heard mixed reviews. I'm glad you were able to find something comparable and I hope this works out better for you! It's been a few months with mine and although there are some things I would change, I like it overall. I don't miss my Hoover vacuum haha. Big upgrade!
OMG ... Watching this made me cringe. The young lady knows nothing of what she has ... The two different roller head types (bare floor/carpet, and bare floor only, respectively), are typical of the best vacuums of this type, so all the huffing and sighing are really unnecessary. The other point I would make ... given her running the hand unit right out of the box, is one should NEVER start an LI powered unit without first fully charging both batteries. Otherwise, one is setting themselves up for batteries that will not charge to full capacity. I would not want to be a prospective customer relying on this review. I guess ultimately she'll be okay with the product once she settles down. Also, I am seeing many unboxing reviews wherein the reviewer states that they bought their LG 'on sale' at Costco for around $500.00 or a little less. I wish to point out that there are higher-level variants of the A9 CordZero offering more accessories, including extra filters and a third head, called a "power punch," which uses a unique oscillating rubber component for upholstery and pillows, which sucks up dust mites and eliminates fiber and hair getting wrapped around the rollers of the other two. There is also the "Kompressor" variant, which uses a special lever on the side of the cannister that tamps down the contents while vacuuming, lessening the frequency of needing to empty. I found this feature a little gimmicky and without direct evidence, just from an engineering standpoint, I felt any mechanism built into the side of the cannister would be a source for some leakage, impacting either the effectiveness of the Hepa or suction. After a check of the Costco site, the version of the LG A9 being offered at Costco is either the base model Cordzero, or the LG A9 Cordzero Charge. These are fine if you are only looking for the two primary heads for carpet/hard-floor (combo) or hard-floor only, and the crevasse tool, and brush. The higher-end variants offer more attachments, extra exhaust filter and the top-of-the line also features a power mop. I purchased the A9 Cordzero Ultimate from Amazon for $529.00 (discounted from $649.99), which offers everything but the Power Mop. I feel I would rather use a separate appliance for 'mopping,' because if I lose my vacuum, I lose both; and vice versa. -- Just trying to be an informed buyer.
