I wonder if his repair is still available as a mail-in service, in which case it could well cost more than upgrading to an equivalent or better phone than the LG G4. You have to REALLY want to salvage your bootlooped LG G4 since LG is now (2019) up to G50. But all that aside, this video was fascinating to watch.
Yes LG G4 is so cheap to buy second hand on Ebay. However, almost all LG G4 you buy as "working" will go to bootloop regardless. So if you like using LG G4, reballing ram chip is only way to keep using it. In 2020, LG G4 is still perfectly fine phone, and I don't have any envy of Galaxy Note 20 that my wife uses.

Usually only ram chip needs to be reballed. Why? Because of the underfill which causes the solder crack and bootloop is mostly due to defective underfill between ram chip and cpu. I guess cpu was reballed only after reballing ram chip was not the solution.
lowest airflow so everything don't fly off the board. temperature is usually at 400c but it looks like he is uaing a lower temperature in the video, maybe 350c
Check out Ufuk Akgül's video on LG G3 Bootloop repair. In the comments, he specifies temperature for removal of ram chip as 320 deg C. which makes sense since you want to use minimum temperaure necessary to melt unleaded solder and minimize risk destroying the chip. 400 deg C is good if you want to throw away the ram chip after removal.
