Got the 55" of this TV and would recommend it to anyone amazing picture and sound is good for a TV although I've got a soundbar and use the eARC feature
@Zemus - were you using a HDMI 2.1 cable with the HDMI 2.1 ports, connected to the PS5 / Xbox? And did you then go into the settings to check what was available? The manual itself (page 95) states both VRR and G-sync (as well as AMD FreeSync) so I guess it needs something setup properly to work.
Yea this TV does look good. In NZ we have a Nano95 8k not the 96 I'm presuming these are basically the same TV, I've noticed the stand is different but I think everything else is the same
Hi! You're probably right, I've noticed there are a lot of variations of each TV out there, I guess to better suit the buyer in different countries. From what I can see, you're right about there not really being a difference between the 95 and the 96!

By my experiment at net and sellers test on my country this tv supports 120hz at 4k and 60 hz at 8k But it has a big lack of gaming technology that is vrr and amd free sync and nividia g sync but it has allm In my opinion gamers should buy nano 90 or 91 or 92 thats full gaming technology tvs but 4k and i think 4k is enough for gaming

It's hard to compare this to an OLED or QLED but I personally still prefer these over the Nano. Though saying that, the quality of the Nano series is still amazing as an LG compared to some of the other TV's I tested in 2021, especially considering it's 8K.
@@BoxCoUk did you manage to test the Samsung QN700A, the closest rival to the above in terms of available 55" size at 8K (that's pretty good PPI for the size) and price? I've read there's a few misnomers regarding pre-launch specification speculations of the QN700A, like the 55"QN700A isn't 120hz at 4K and it doesn't use HDMI 2.1 when it does and is, and that speculation also claimed it was IPS when it is in fact a 2000nit VA panel. I believe these misconceptions are why there's no reviews of the 55" QN700A when there's should be plenty considering this panel is now available for around £1,000 and that console & PC users would have jumped at the chance had they known it was able to churn out 120hz 4k with VRR via HDMI 2.1. Imagine photo editing and text quality using a genuine VA 8K panel at 55"? I just want so one to see if the panel contrast is as good as the QN90A - if so I'll immediately buy the QN700A. Thanks
