If you hold down the green button while playing a game console. It will tell you your video specs. If your a gamer then you will be pleased that it shows you the current frame rate

@@jamesd0ng440 Pretty amazing picture quality! The only downside I'd say so far is the HUUUGE amount of options, which makes it kinda hard to set up properly. Like at least you can really calibrate it as you wish, but it's quite a headache to set it all up x)

@@FlipperWolf look at the channel hdtvtest (he will tell you what settings give you most accurate colors), also just put everything to cinema to start with, gets rid of soap opera for the most part and gives you accurate colors without making screen too dark like filmmaker does. I have a 55 and 65 CX and thats how i do it.

Honest this TV blew my mind. It's so nice to use. The ps5 looks amazing on it as does pc. Using it as a pc monitor is unreal

Ditto. Super large, great picture, monitor. Only issue for me using it as a monitor. Is the no signal, time it takes to register.

You can actually also turn off the screen by holding the voice command button and saying "turn off screen". This will also keep the audio playing.

@G B 007 Voice commands are pretty dumb on most devices and services. Not yet found one that worked and that include two different car satnav's.

Got this tv today. 2 person white glove delivery with setup and testing turned into one guy delivery that needed help, hadn't seen the TV before, let it fall over onto the floor after removing all the Styrofoam. More durable than I expected, still worked after all that.

Thank you. I have finally disabled the dreaded face glow the tv was doing by turning off the Ai mode. Drove me nuts! Also, this TV people don't know that it comes stalk with 100 free tv channels. Nice addition for those who don't want to pay for Cable. Warning, it's commercial heavy, still free.

Wow I had this TV a while and just learned a lot of new things.. The No Signal remove, Screen Off, and Short Cuts were things I was wishing the CX had, and I guess it does!

One of the main things you left out. Is that most of the features that ships, with the tv. You have to agree to different user agreements. In order to access, them. That microphone feature you explained is one of those feature's. And if connected to a pc, the no signal input, take's quite a bit of time to register as receiving a signal. Great, informative vid, though. Keep up the good work.

My Tv does not have that advertisement button. We have the same TV so maybe LG removed it once people found out and gave them some push back... great helpful video, i dont even read manuals or instructions anymore. I just use RU-vid.

Did you know you can add screen off to the quick menu? :) If you press the gear icon, you can customize the settings icons. There you can add some more, for example screen off :)

One additional tipp: as for the shortcut bar on the left (settings button), I added ‚screen off‘ as a shortcut and use it everytime when I play Apple Music or Amazon Music to prevent burn in or image retention

I hadn't thought of that; excellent idea. Here's something, too: sync up your LG Web OS to Google Assistant. Now hold the center mic key down on the remote and say, "Turn Screen Off." It will answer back: "Alright, turning screen off." Then the five second timer counts down to shutoff time.

I have a question for you: does this tv model allow connecting surround sound speakers to it? I know it has Dolby Atmos but that's probably just for the internal speaker to mimic a surround environment. It would be cool if it was like soundbars allowing additional speakers to connect to it extending the Atmos (like for instance if you just happened to have an old 5.1 system or two lying around you could put them to good use). So this is probably a no, but if you had any info regarding this it would be much appreciated because I'm interested in buying this TV (or the new replacement model C1 or even G1 coming out this year).

I like how of all of the channels you choose to cast to the TV, you chose Critical. Also it’s worth mentioning that all of these features also work on the LG TVs that use webOS, not just the CX!

One thing you left out is if you spam the green button about 6 times while gaming on Xbox or ps5 a window will appear that shows the resolution and frame rate currently running.

It's not the current running refresh and resolution it's what's being outputted by the system. SO your Series X can be Outputting a 4K 120HZ signal but the game you're playing may be running at say 1440P 60 or what ever the game is at. So it's only good for checking what you've set your console's system settings to.

I like the "Screen Off" feature for RU-vid music 🎶 playing constantly. Add it by pressing the settings menu once, select "Edit Mode" and select "Screen Off" 💪no screen burn in worries 👍🏻

I have an issue in that I have an oled 55b8 in my basement and now 65c9 in my living room.....the two remotes seem to get confused and want to link to the other TV when they're both on.......any fix???? Thanks

Hey man two questions: I recently bought the 65inch CX Model and its on the way. I also planned to put it on the ikea shelves like you. question 1: is the middle part where the shelves are connecting to each other too high? Do you evened that with like pads or so on the left and right for the stand? question 2: Is the height too high? Im not sure yet whether to for a wall mount or not. What do you say? Thanks! :)

@HotshotTek Great video. At 1:43, on the home dashboard, it's cutting off slightly the two inputs of the bottom. I have the same problem. Is it possible to fix this? Aspect ratio is greyed out while in the home dashboard...
