[LG Parts] How to check the compressor windings of a refrigerator 

This video describes how to check the windings of a compressor of an LG refrigerator.
The resistance values per compressor type. Resistance is higher when the compressor is hot.
Bottom Freezers, Linear Compressor (like in the video):
Common to Power = 11.5 - 13 Ohm
Common to Save = 16 - 18 Ohm
Side By Side & Multidoor Refrigerators, Linear Compressor:
Common to Power= 6 - 8 Ohm
Common to Save = 10.5 - 12.5 Ohm
Bottom Freezers, BLDC compressor (U,V,W Wye/Star windings configuration)
From U to V, From U to W and/or from V to W = 13 - 16 Ohm
Please note that some older models have a two wire connection and not three wires.
These models can be distinguished by looking at the harness (only two wires).
The measurement procedure described in the video is not applicable for these models.
The resistance to ground/earth is not checked in this video. A separate measurement is advised for this (using a high voltage breakdown tester).
