LG's Best Soundbar Ever? Amazing with the LG OLED evo G3!

I have the S95QR paired with my LG CX with almost 10,000 hrs. on it. LG does an impressive job of updates for its tv’s and so far 2 major updates for the soundbar itself! Awesome product support and really like the soundbar even without the WOW feature. My next upgrade will likely be another LG when the CX is at end of life, but no indication of that happening . . . yet. What I am seeing is that it depends when you get involved. I happened to hit it right. Meanwhile, VERY IMPORTANT to purchase the extended warranty from Best Buy, for example. I have had to use it several times, particularly to return my previous LG soundbar that kicked the bucket within the extended warranty period. Simply paid the difference between the two products . . . and was back in business. Well worth it!

I have this paired with my lgc2 83". Absolutely love it.

At 7:04 when you played, the display on the soundbar went off. Is there a way to turn that display off? I'm glad we can finally turn off the always-on E-ARC display, but I don't want ANYTHING to show.

Hi hope the surrsound is lot better then b4 bec the rear speakers u can her people from them and u can’t hear the sound bar if they to close so I hope u only can hear the rear speakers when the action comes in only

I have the LG G3 Evo 65 inch (I wanted the 77 inch, but the wall was too small in my den. I've had it for about a month and I have no regrets compared to my Sony Bravia. The Bravia was supposed to be top of the line, but there's things it need to work on. Mine has a blue hue. The brightness isn't there compared to the LG G3. The thing about your video is that it doesn't really do it any justice when we watch it on a phone, laptop, or anything else other than the source itself. We can listen to what our speakers are capable of, but not your setup. MKBHD tried something similar when testing out the Pixel 8 Post Audio Editor. It had the typical hi-pass filter in his most recent video. From 1st hand experience, the soundbar paired with "AI sound" from an E-arc connection is absolutely amazing, which you can hear the flatness when it's off. It leaves a lot to be desired when the soundbar is off or you've become spoiled because you've never heard a tv sound like this. You went smaller while I went equal size. The soundbar is amazing, but the model I have does come with a separate remote from the wand (so i have the cable, tv, and soundbar remotes to keep together). It doesn't come with an option for a stand which limits you to either buying a 3rd party stand or mounting it. Sometimes it's best to have a stand when you don't want to mess up the wood panel walls or if you have a slumlord you're renting from (only using real world examples, but things I had to deal with when I was renting and didn't have the beautiful home I have now). Infomercials don't usually say the negative things about a product, so the buyer has to find out 1st hand.

I really like the old Format of your older videos. More honest truthful reviews. I feel like it’s all sponsored now and your reviews are always biased towards the sponsor. It’s almost feels robotic like you guys are reading from a script.

Which tv would you recommend and why for my use case which is sports movies and mostly cable HD/4K TV between THE 77 INCH LG G3 and the SAMSUNG S95C? I don't game at all. Thanks

As much as I would like to match up a sound bar system with the new TV I just purchased the 77 G3. I think I’m gonna stick with my Sonos system the speakers of this TV having anything to do with what I have to listen to would be a downer, probably the worst sounding TV that I’ve ever owned. Picture is beyond amazing but the sound is the pits, especially if I compare it to how well my Sony in the bedroom without any sound bar with the acoustic surface sound. The TV that was replaced the 77 C9 had much better sound than this TV. Granted, I only tried it for a few minutes, but it was actually hurting my ears. Lol You both do an excellent job reviewing, and I really enjoy watching you. Your review of the television itself convinced me to purchase this TV I tossed between the Samsung or this and I’m glad I went with this.

I wonder if there is a better option for less $? Sonos or Polk maybe Looking for Soundbar only or maybe a +woof… no satellite

I just purchased a 55inch LG C3 for my sons bedroom. I want to get him a good sound bar. The only thing I require is that when I turn the tv on with its LG remote it turns the sound bar on , and turns up and down and off with a single remote.

i have the same exact setup and for some reason i dont get the volume bar on the screen and i also dont get the soundbar menu // its hooked to tv from the e-arc hdmi

Huge fan ❤love all your videos. I know this is not soundbar related but…do you have any advice on mounting a tv on a wall in a condo with metal studs. I have been told you cannot do this because you are never really sure you have penetrated the metal or just bent it. This is an Old tv, 50” plasma, very heavy compared to these newer tv’s you are showing. What’s your opinion B ? Anyone else know if this is possible ?

I used to enjoy watching your videos, but for a long time now you haven't really done anything other than advertising. Everything is just "fantastic", "stunning" and "unbelievable".... a little more of your own opinion and experience would be nice and less of the manufacturer's words....

Love what y’all do But you’re wrong Vizio and even Onn (Walmart brand) Have been putting upward firing speakers in sound bars for a couple year now…..one of my first favorites is Vizio elevate a 5.1.4 at the time I bought it for under $1000

This soundbar has serious issue in the connectivity..high dependecy on wifi. Rare speakers frequently disconnects

I have this soundbar and I’m sorry to say when watching the terrestrial tv channels the sound is just awful. No power whatsoever. It does sound good watching Dolby atmos blu rays 4k uhd,but for general to usage it does not perform. My 5.1 Blu-ray home cinema system has more bass than the q95, I have tried all different ways to set up. Reset numerous times but to no avail. Very very disappointing

After this review I purchased this soundbar and I was very disappointed as many other have been in their reviews. I’m also disappointed by this “sponsored” review. The Sonos Arc paired with two Era 300 blows the LG away.

If you are a home theater guy, Id like you to stop doing advertisements for packaged systems and give us for example your favorite affordable seperates audiophile system.

I have the LG S95TR soundbar which is the successor to the QR that I use with a G4 television. Supposedly the S95TR is an improvement over the S95QR. I am bitterly disappointed with it. There is a large void in the bass response, there is a no mans land where there is no matching bass produced between the lowest that the soundbar and speakers can produce, and the bass level where the subwoofer starts to work. It makes it sound like the subwoofer is gutless. This results in an unbalanced sound which is high pitched and hard on the ears, shrill even. This is very poor as LG markets the TR as the "audio aficionados" soundbar. It is not very good for listening to music on at all. I would not recommend the S95TR soundbar.

And just what is that terrible smell? I can’t quite put my digit on it Ah yes that’s it bullshit…. 😀
