Appreciate your review, good job. We have the same unit and the recommendation in the the manual is set oven temp 25 degrees cooler than package temp. My theory is that the convection is constantly recirculating the air and there is no need to compensate for heat loss. Speaking of heat loss, another terrific feature is the oven doesn't heat the whole house. You can bake and actually touch the front of the oven, it's not hot. Still trying to learn how to use the air fryer and cook things that are not covered by the preset menu buttons. BTW white is now an option too. Thanks again.

We just got this exact one! Installing it right now…love the template for easy installation, however I’m just watching my husband so it’s easy for me 😂 while he’s installing I’m watching your video and it really put me at ease, reading the manual didn’t help me that much. We got ours at Best Buy… they price match which is nice .. loved your video, I’m excited to use it. I’ve never had an air-fryer, my oven has a convection setting and I’ve never used it! Just ordered mine today for our BRAND NEW KITCHEN!!! The wife only uses the stove and oven to cook I only use the air fryer and microwave, so she got a $20,000 kitchen and I got a $600 microwave.... Even trade in my book! Looking forward to getting this. Only thing that it seems I won't like is that stupid one push start where you go to type 2:15 and as soon as you hit 2 it starts!!! But just something I will have to get use to I guess because the rest of it seems great
It’s definitely a great microwave. Starting to use the scan option that sends the info directjy from your phone to the microwave to set it up. Super easy to use!
I do have a question. With the opening on the side, does your hand hit the cabinet to open the microwave? sorry if this seems silly but I can not find a view of the handle/opening
@angiebutcher4068 No. it sticks out far enough that opening it from the side is unobstructed. I was worried about it too since our previous microwave had a door handle, but I love this design a lot more now.
Same situation, just replacing the stock one that came with the house when we built, and picked up this exact model. We have not used the convection side yet, but it sounds like its doing a good job for you. Would be interested if you did a follow up after a few months to talk about any quarks or gotchas that you may have learned about. Also, why didn't you suggest using the App to scan? Perhaps I missed it.
The product description on Home Depot's website list the vent as "convertible" what does that mean? This doesn't have the Extendahood 2.0 from what I can tell.
Mine the top filter is very loose. I was wondering if the filter supposed to be flat or in an angle. When the wind is blowing outside the filter is moving and creates a scratching noise. Thank you.
I just sold my condo and I'm moving and I have to buy a microwave /convection. My current one has metal racks like my full size oven. I use cake pans, 9x13pans on a rack, you did not mention racks, how can you convection bake if no racks?
I literally showed you the rack that it comes with. It comes with a portable rack and pan for the convection oven portion. Maybe watch the video again?
