It would run better if the exhaust headers ended in a collector, rather than being separate. The collection of parts is period correct to Kate forties.
It is a 1939 Ford steering box mounted below the frame rail, and turned sideways. I clocked to pitman arm to point straight up, which made the drag link almost perfectly parallel with the wishbones. Compared to the stock model A box, it feels like power steering and has zero bump steer.
